I get calls from this number all of the time and wondered why. No one ever says anything or leaves a message.
I completely agree with you. They've been calling me almost daily, for weeks. Why should i have to use my valuable time to call every telemarketer back and ask them to not call me? If i did, i doubt I'd have time to work my two jobs and care singlehandedly for my kids. Why not leave a message and be done with it, or leave me alone? Clearly I'm not answering for a reason.
I don't think it is professional to not leave a message if the cold is not answered. If it truly is a call to see if I'm happy with a service, which incidentally I have not signed up for with GoDaddy of recent times, why not leave a voicemail giving me the option to call if I have any questions or needs, rather than calling my phone almost daily for weeks on end and not leaving a message? As a past business owner, I imagine my clients would be extremely annoyed and probably not return. There is no justification for harassing phone calls, past customer or not.
Do you work for Godaddy? I'm curious, because who would be okay with these calls when one is conducting business online? As stated above by another commenter, when dealing with online business via an online channel, why not use email to communicate, exactly the way Amazon and other large profesdional online organizations do, unless the purpose of the communication is to sell something, or upsell what do you already bought? There can really be no other explanation, let's be honest.
