Indian sounding man. He told me they were alerted that I had malicious software and that was why I was getting warnings popping up on my computer. I let him talk a bit as I have gotten 3-4 of these calls in the past week or two. Finally I asked him what MY name was. When he didn't know I asked how he could have my computer info, my cell phone #, and yet not know who I was. He got mad and started calling me a Mo**** Fu****. I laughed at him and asked him how many people a day he was calling and scamming as a fraud. He called me a few more names and then he hung up on ME! Haha.
3 calls within 10 minutes all before 9 am. I didn't pick up because caller's name was "unavailable".
At 2:02pm on Aug 24 2015. Guy with a hint of an accent from India said his name was Micheal, and that I had downloaded a virus. Asked if my computer was on. I told him to put me on his do not call and do not mail list. I hung up.

Just got off the phone with this number. He claimed he was from Microsoft, had bad broken English, and constantly kept telling me " you got to believe me i shall show it to you " . I humored them for a while, googling what he was telling me to do and found out the scam. Told him Google was my friend, and that I was born at night, just not last night. Hung up on him. What a day.
Usually the call comes as private. I had told them to call back at a certain time O didn't answer so a call came back immediately from this number. They are trying to fix my computer but I'm sure it's a scam.
got a call from 4824589112 saying they were with Windows, calling about a problem with my computer..i said "I have a tech company, i'll call them"..he said "they can't help you, they are idiots"..i repeated (louder this time) "i'll call MY Tech Support" & while he was still trying to talk back i hung up...checked this # with the legitimate numbers for my Tech Support & they are NOT with them, just as i thought...SCAM!!!!

CALLED MY EMPLOYER. NOTHING BUT SILENCE WHEN WE ANSWERED.
I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
