Some guy with a distinct Indian accent said that my computer was not responding to Microsoft updates and wanted me to go to my computer and give him access to it. I told him over my dead body and he hung up.

14824589112 keeps calling with a foreign accent saying he's from computer maitenece. He sounds like a older guy from whatever country.I'm so annoyed!!

Don't want them to bothering me

Go on Amazon or Google and search 'Pro Call Block'. It is a stand-alone unit that attaches to your phone line. It's the BEST $40 I've spent in a long time. We have over 500 blocked numbers in just over 2- years AND FINALLY some peace and quiet.

6:35 pm an hindu lady called asking me to log into my computer because their was an issue. I said i was a certified tech she then hung up

There was a delay after I answered and said, "Hello." Then a woman with an accent who knew my husband's first name asked if I was he and I said, "Yes." She said that she was calling for the U.S. Grant Office. I did not respond for a long period, and then I said, "I'm listening." She said, "I'm listening, too." At that point, I hung up.

i received a call from this number as well. when i get a junk phone call, i don't answer it but save it under "save as existing contact" under "junk". these existing contact numbers are getting longer and longer!

keep getting calls saying they are from windows or sometimes Microsoft! I have asked them to stop but they don't . Number is 482-458-9112

This is amazing! I thought I was all alone in this. These guys have been harassing my household for over two years now. The first time, they scared me half to death--they told me our computer was going to blow up! It took a moment before the red flags went up and then I thought computers don't blow up! I am no longer afraid and have threatened to track them down myself if they didn't stop. Yesterday they called 4 times saying they were with the Federal Government Grant Dept. This was new, usually it's Windows or Microsoft. But they didn't stop until my husband became rude beyond words! Misery may love company but I am so sorry all of you are suffering from this as well. Other than reporting these guys, hanging up is about the best thing to do. Although, I did have a little fun with one of the calls. He became so exasperated he hung up on me!

Didn't answer call and the caller didn't leave a message.
