Came home and had this number on my home phone. It said SKYPE, no message left. Did not call back. It better not show up on my cell.
My phone just rang from this number. I didn't answer it. I now have to go through a bunch of menus on my cell phone to receive calls ONLY from my contacts. It's inconvenient for any new friends but at least I can work/sleep/etc.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST...this number calls my number and I deem this as harassment!!!I am not going to press any number and I am not going to call the number back to find out who or what it is...as there are scams out there to get you on the line long enough to gain vital information on you and/or then your charged for the time you are on the phone finding out who they are. Harassment. Period.
Thanks for the detailed info, SH!That's the best background info yet! It certainly sounds like a scam to steal your credit card information by having you volunteer to give it away. Social engineering conning at its best.The person on the other end of the line didn't happen to have a Nigerian accent, did they?... ;->
