I actually worked for this call center. As someone who doesn't like to keep re calling people I will give you a helpful hint. Do not just hang up, they will just call back. Let them finish there introduction, then politely ask them to place you on their internal do not call list that they have. Do not tell them "remove me from your list because they will remove u from the list for that particular study, but possibly call u for a different survey, but asking them to put you in their do not call list will prevent the company from calling you at anytime.

RDD Field Services “Why Did You Call Me?” and Other Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy did you call me?RDD Field Services conducts market research via telephone for many different clients and companies. We have NO products or services to sell you, nor do we sell anything on behalf of our clients. Companies and individuals hire us just to gather opinions from people like you.But I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry. Doesn't that mean anything? The products you purchase, the services available to you, the propositions and candidates that you choose from during an election—all depend upon market research. Recognizing the importance of this, the government exempted the market research industry from the National Do Not Call Registry. However, we do maintain our own internal "Do Not Call" list for those who choose to not have their opinions counted. Why do I get multiple calls from you?We believe the best decisions can be made only when we've gathered the opinions of the most diverse group possible. Sometimes this means that we need to work harder to reach certain participants whose opinions might otherwise not be included. If we call and you'd rather not participate, just let us know when we call. We'll put your number on our internal "Do Not Call" list. You can also remove your number by using our online opt-out tool here. How did you get my number? In general, it depends on the type of survey. For instance, if a company you do business with wants us to field a customer satisfaction survey, the business may provide us with its customer list. But if we're doing a political survey in which we're trying to reach likely voters, we may use information from public voter rolls. For a community issues survey, we may use telephone directories. Why do you sometimes ask for a particular gender or age group when you call? Our research requires us to find a representative sampling of various demographic qualities. When we are finishing up a study, it's not uncommon for us to ask up front for a particular demographic. It's really just a method to help us respect your valuable time. Can I be paid for my participation?Although there are some special circumstances in which participants are paid for their responses, they're the exception, not the rule. Unpaid solicitation of public opinion is a much more accurate, reliable method of gathering data since it eliminates the bias that studies might receive from "professional" survey takers.
