514-555-5555 / 5145555555

I recieved a call fromo 514-555-5555 earlier today and when I answered they hung up. They called back about 1-hour later and "Marion" told me I had won a digital camera. I said no thanks and hung up. Can't imagine anyone being dumb enough to go along with this scam.

this is the same number 514-555-5555, I ran a check it said on my caller ID name D Purdy so I ran it and this is what I got. D Purdy 7670 Rue D'Iberville, Montreal QC H2E 2Z2. I ran the number on another site and it came up as the person was in San Francisco, Ca. I did get a live voice it was a man but there was so much noise in the background I couldn't understand who he was asking for,and I kept telling him that, so he hung up.

Been geting "UN_WANTED" calls from 514-555-5555...If any one that is affilated with that 3 reads this...I will not now nor ever buy anything from any one who has to harass people on their phones...Get a real job !

They called and when answered they hung up! when tried to call back it sounded like a fox machine.

This # has called us 27 times since 04/13/08, (6 days including weekends!). I will often anwser what appears to be a bogus call & immediately "mute" my phone, (figure a legit caller will say something & I can decide whether to "take" the call or just tie up their line & cost them a few pennies). I answered this call, they asked for my college age son, in what sounded like an Indian accent, (absolutely butchering his name) he took the call and was offered some sort of digital cam promo, playing along he told them he was a minor and had been told not to talk to strangers or give any of his info to anyone the guy told him that was OK, he was not allowed to take info about children, BUT if he could get one of his parent's SS# and some #'s off one of thier checks, he could still get the camera!! He tried to get the guy's name, but couldn't. After hanging up, we notified the locals, who really didn't act like they gave a rat's rearend, called our telephone co & asked to have a tracer put on the call for authorities, the woman checked something on her end, and said they had no way to log the number, as it showed as coming from 000.000.0000, (she indicated that she thought there had been NO call to us in the indicated time frame, stating that was the response she would expect if the the line was idle!! Now What??

When you google the number...It has something to do with equifax and Big Bank of Canada...ok..you annoying little twits (who can't speak English)...Go to school...Get a real job....then annoy people in your own Country...

Well they've called me three more times since i've written a reply on here, still sounds like a fax machine or else the operator says to check the number and call again. I am warning everyone I know thanks to all you guys who takes the time to warn others, thank you all!

I receive anywhere up to 15 calls a day from this number!!! if i hit ignore on my cell phone it calls me right back, will do this up to 6 times once i've hit the ignore button... who does this number belong to and what does it want? if i do answer the phone, all there is is silence then it hangs up, I've tried calling it back with no success, it doesnt pick up and my cell phone tells me that my 'balance is not sufficient enough to make this call', huh?!?!

Reporting them !

Got four(4) calls yesterday 4/29/08 no reply from the caller when I answered the phone.
