"Free cruise to the Bahamas" scam.
This caller called my number, left no voicemail msg, when I called back immediately, automated recorded msg claims it is a survey company but that my time has expired and if I want to be removed from their list to click 9. I simply hung up not trusting what dialing 9 might mean. Possibly confirming that the number is good and I would risk receiving more calls.
They called twice - I won a trip to the BAHAMAS WOO HOOOO. Fusk! I have VOIP account and I can and will block this number! No more BELL, no more Brault&Martineau style trips !!! Peace at home.
arnaque ou publicité sur les Bahamas qui empêche de couper la ligne. Même en raccrochant le message se poursuit et la ligne n'est pas accessible durant de temps. J'ai débranché au point de démarcation pour obtenir la ligne.
It's a scam company located somewhere downtown Montreal. They called me twice and the first time when I replied they said I won a trip to Las Vegas and wanted me to confirm my e-mail so they can send me the details. They then sent me an e-mail my provider initially blocked as junk, and there was some fishy form asking me to give my CC info and such. But the funniest thing was that the letter stated I won a trip to Hollywood instead. I just deleted it.They called again today and this time I didn't reply. They didn't leave any message. When I called back the machine said that I've reached some "survey" company and asked me to press 9 to get deleted from the list. That's what I did so far and hopefully they'd stop calling. Not annoying as the Bell-Nordia thing, but come on, you're wasting my precious cellphone time for barely nothing!
Called twice. Did not answer. No messages.

It sucks. Scam calls are getting wilder than ever — they’re even spoofing IRCC’s number now.
So when you pick up and hear that little ‘beep…’ at the start, it’s usually a scam.

When you answer the call, it seems like there's nobody on the other end. It looked like a number worth blocking. Yes, I did.
