your right this is a scam , not only for the card buyers ! But also for the company's that fall for this marketing scam. i am an owner of a small business that listened to their sale's pitch and thought it was legit ! The first lie they told me was that they would only sell 500 booklet's , they diddnt say they were also going to give away at least another 500 more. the second lie was the offer they gave to the public ! We asked for a coupon that would bring in people to our cafe during our slow hour's ( 2:00 to 5:00 ) We said we wanted to give a free taco or burrito with a purchase of one . What they put on our coupon was buy a dinner from 11 : 00 to 2:00 up to $ 8.99 and get another one free !! Then they also added another coupon on the other half of it and offered to let the holder buy another supper for buy one at $7.00 and get another free!there is no way we can honor a coupon like that ! But the way this company work's is they offer outrageous deals to get the buyer's then they leave it on the shoulder's of the business. When you try to call them the phone number they have listed doesnt work 2 days after they make their sales pitch. just try calling it.I for one am not going to let them destroy what i have worked hard for when they misrepresented everything.I am not going to go quietly away and let them con more people i will go to every site and contact as many government agencies i can to keep this rip off company from making money from other peoples hard work and sweat.

Bullcrap !!!I where is the contract i signed when they put my business on this card ? I asked to see a copy before they put it on & never received anything except a coupon in their stupid fly by night fold up deal. I would be ashamed if this is the only job i could do !!

As you can tell you are also am employee for this scam. Why dont they answer the phone when i try calling them ? SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!! There is no contract because this is not legit !!

that's because they are not legit . they make up coupon's on businesses to make it more appealing to coupon buyer's , since they wont answer their phones after the sell is off they dont have to hear complaint's and they have nothing to mloose. tyhe only thing the business owner can do is not honor the coupon's. Why would a person make such ridiculous offer's ! Think about it .

i have worked there as well but it is a great card and it does save you a lot of money and even though the way they do things is not so great it is nice to even consider it,,, it is nice to hear the people out.....

I, too, was called multiple times and told I could not wait until Friday to pay and have card delivered. The lady on the indicated she would take a post-dated check or my credit card numbers and delay the payment. I indicated I wanted to pay on Friday multiple times. Indeed she did get rude and downright obnoxious during our exchange. I also asked if she could call me back on Friday, to which her reply was, "We are not allowed to call anyone back". Hmmm....but you've called me daily for five days. I think you CAN call back. I buy the card every year. It saves me a ton of money. But this example of marketing is outrageous, and obviously I won't be participting this year because they "are not allowed to call anyone back". As an aside. I'm taking my card from last year and approaching the vendors I've used and letting them know what happened as this behavior reflects poorly on them. Perhaps the vendors can apply pressure to clean up this act.

This outfit is obnoxious. They call phones on the do not call list, so they get told in no uncertain four letter words what I think of them.

This Keep IT local card is a joke! They say it is to help your community but really it is someone just making money off of it. It helps the community by getting people to shop/eat local but the guy that owns the Keep It local business is making money off these cards and the money made from selling the cards does not go back to the community it goes into his pocket! So you pay $45 and get 2 cards but it probably cost him $2 to print the cards so he is making a great profit off these and the businesses that are listed on them are losing money.....The perfect Scam!!

IT IS OUR JOB TO REBUTTAL UNTIL YOU EITHER BUY THE CARDS OR HANG UP! I CAN ALSO GUARANTEE WE MAKE MORE MONEY THAN MOST OF YOU. JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT OUR JOB REQUIRES US TO DO, DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE UNPROFESSIONAL. I AM NOT SORRY THAT WE CALL BUT WHEN YOU TELL US TO CALL AT A CERTAIN TIME AND WE DO BUT THE PERSON IS NOT HOME WE TRY BACK AGAIN. THIS IS US SIMPLY DOING OUR JOB. THE REASON YOU ARE PUSHED TO DO A PAYMENT THAT DAY, ESPECIALLY IF ITS A DELIVERY IS BECAUSE WE CAN'T GUARANTEE OUR DRIVER WILL STILL BE THERE. WE SELL TO OVER 200 TOWNS IN THE MIDWEST... US EMPLOYEES ARE SIMPLY TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING JUST LIKE ALL OF YOU AND SUPPORT OUR FAMILY... WE HAVE TO FOLLOW OUR BOSSES RULES AND IF WE DON'T WE GET FIRED... SO NEXT TIME HANG UP THE PHONE!!!! ITS NOT THAT HARD. ALSO THE ONLY REASON YOU CAN'T GET THROUGH ON THE LINE THAT CALLED YOU IS BECAUSE WE CONSTANTLY DIAL OUT ON IT. BUT HERE HAVE OUR TOLL FREE NUMBER, THEN YOU CAN CALL US BACK AND NOT GET A BUSY SIGNAL... 1 800 581 5864... DON'T HATE US FOR FOLLOWING OUR BOSSES RULES. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT GOT HUNG UP ON, THAT SHOULD NOT OF HAPPENED BUT ITS USUALLY THE TRAINEES THAT DO THAT. I HAVE WORKED HERE FOR 4 YEARS NOW AND I MAKE DAMN GOOD MONEY DOING MY JOB!
