Until they call back again. Then you have to say "not interested" again. And again...and again....
Whether the company is legit or not, or if the product is legit or not, they are still breaking the law. Unless the call is for a charity, a survey, or for political purposes, they are not allowed to call people on the Do Not Call list. They just don't care.First they told me that they didn't have to follow the law because they were calling random numbers. Not true. Then they told me that they didn't have to follow the law because the primary reason for calling was to enter me in a drawing. Again not true. The bottom line is that I am on the Do Not Call registry for a reason, and that is because I don't appreciate sales calls. I shouldn't have to tell them "no thank you". They shouldn't be calling me in the first place.
received calls for person no longer associated with this number and told the caller that, asked them not to call again, but they did right away the next morning..
My husband and I have been called by the 515-462-5296 with the caller ID saying "Creative Advantage". We listened to their pitch one day about the card "Keep it Local" (it possibly may have had another name where we are). We subscribed to the card and we were actually surprised by the value it contained! Free movies, haircuts, oil changes etc...some of the vendors didn't offer much but the ones that did paid for the card many times over. With this economy we all have to work together because we never know when it might be you being laid-off from a 21 year management job. I can't remember if they have a policy where you can check the card out before purchasing it or get a refund if you're not happy. But you will be supporting local businesses, which help them stay in business and helping those who work their keep their job, not to mention the person who's trying to sell the card. If they are rude, try and get their name (act like your interested, then they'll give their name up), call back and talk to a supervisor and tell them what they did and I'd also tell them, this is why people don't want to do business with you. I also think they should change the name of the caller ID. It might be more helpful. If you're getting repeated calls after saying I'm not interested, get on the FCC do not call list. If you're on it, they'll not only hang up on you, they'll never call you back and if they do, tell them your on it. Your problem will be solved when you tell them you're making a complaint for violating the do not call list. You'd be surprised how fast that takes care of a problem....and no I don't work for the company, I don't know anyone who works for it, etc...I just wanted to share our experience.
I actually recieved a phone call from a young lady and i thought the cards were fantastic!!! their really not telemarketers they are selling something that actually benefits you! i love it! you should really try them out they save you so much money!
I keep getting calls several times a day for the followingnumbers 515-462-5291 515-462-5294, etc. They do not leave a message...If I do not answer...they hangup. How can I stop this.!!! It is getting annoying !!! Who can I report this too..Thanks
The big deal is that there are laws in place that protect consumers who are on the "Do Not Call" list that they are completely ignoring. If they want to stay in business they had better cease and desist their calling policies, or a hefty lawsuit might put the employees out of work.
I just called them using the posted numbers, and I asked for a supervisor. I asked her if they check the federal Do Not Call list and she said they do not have to, if they offer you something free. The "free" item is a chance at winning a Visa Check card. Unfortunatly, I'm still pretty sure they need to make sure you are not on the list. Any takers?
