received a call from this number...refuse to answer as do not reconize number...no mssg left.
I've gotten a call from this number many times and didn't answer as I did not recognized it. I checked online and see it is a scam call. I have been told never answer it and if they tell you to be taken off their calling list press a certain number that it could be giving them the ok to further the scam.
male voice told me, I had recently visited one of their resorts ... that was false ... voice said I won a Florida trip, quoted the cost, asked if I owned a credit card ... I said, "bite me" ... voice said, "didn't get that, do you own a credit card?" ... I said, "none of your damn business" ... during that short amount of time, the voice asked about 5 times if I had or owned a credit card ...SCAM ALERT!
Called landline, left no message when answering machine picked up. Honestly, I pay for my phone service. Nobody should be able to call me unless I gave them permission. Otherwise, I want them to contribute toward my bill.
Area code 515 is indeed in Iowa. Specifically, the capitol city of Des Moines. More specifically, one of the metro suburbs of Des Moines, but I'm not sure which one...I didn't bother to look it up, but already know the Area Code because I used to live in Des Moines.

I agree scammers. Message left: I won a disney trip......discounted car.....then changed voices. All automated, Records say over 21......then "I didn't understand you", Need credit card for hotel.......then "I didn't understand you". Finally it said "Okay, sorry to bother you have a great day......."
Getting a new phone number means that you may also be getting calls for whoever *used to have* that number before you, and it doesn't automatically mean they're scam calls. Last time I got a new number, I was getting private calls from people who didn't know that the number had been assigned to someone else...during the next 3 years!It still never hurts to check out calls from numbers that YOU don't know.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
