Got a call from this number, since I am job searching I answered, and it was a voice recording saying I had "won a cruise, if I completed a survey" to take advantage of the offer press 1, which I did not do and just hung up. Will block number now that I know.

I have received this call number innumerable times, but since I have caller I.D. and do not recognize the number, I do not answer. I bet you won a free cruise or a trip to the Bahamas--all they want is your credit card number so they can scam you out of your money. I believe it should be in the hands of the phone companies, who sell all these numbers and cell phones from other area codes, to immediately cut these scammers off! Or are the telephone companies just as greedy as the scammers! The Pope says "watch out for global warming," but he needs to add, "watch out for the greedy SOB's."

Cruise/Survey scam. I don't need this bullshevik! The FCC might be able to shut these a$$holes down, if they had adequate funding. But, since the FCC is a public agency, and legislatures are currently in the hands of people who hate anything public, I don't look for that to happen soon.

Nobody on the other end. Silent spam!

This seemed like a scam. They told me I recently stayed at one of their hotels and there was a bonus package that I wasn't offered. I would get 4 nights at a luxurious hotel in Orlando Florida and all I had to do was rent a car from Avis for $265. When I questioned what hotel I had recently stayed at (since I haven't stayed anywhere recently) they responded with "oh I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that" and continued with the information about the car rental. I questioned again "you said I recently stayed at one of your hotels, which one?"; the response was "our records show you have a valid credit card..." and then I hung up. They were obviously trying to get me to give them my credit card information.

Huh? If you ever experience something like that again, press & hold the power button until it shuts down. Or, if you can pull the battery, do that.

This number keeps calling, won't leave a message. Calls at least 5 times a day.

I received the call a day or two after updating info on Google. I was unable to answer; no message was left; and when I called it, Verizon said the number had been disconnected.

This number has called both my cell phone and my land line today. No message left either time. I am expecting a call from my doctor's office, so I called back when I got the call on my cell earlier. I heard a recording that the number was disconnected.
