I have turned them in to the attorney general and got a letter back saying that they had "satisfactorily" handled the problem. Nope, they just pissed me off more. They had a list of the supposed times they called my home, it was incorrect. They recorded only one time that we asked to be taken off the list, and put up some b.s. comment of "call back in 2 weeks" which was probably the time they harassed my mother who is going through chemo and told the girl just to answer no to all the questions. The girl informed her that she couldn't do that as it was "her job to ask each question and get a separate response" My mother said then you ask your questions and I'll hang up. And they called two more times after that. Their machines may record the calls made but the caller is the one who records the response, which is why even after you ask to be taken off the list they still call. They probably get paid per response. I am re-sending the letter to the Atty Gen along with this website (and all the others) so they can see just how many complaints are out there and the way they conduct their business.
My husband did the survey and answered all questions honestly. They called back the very next night-- I kindly told them that they had already called us and we had already answered the questions, and to please not call back again since they had their answers. The man on the phone said that his computer had no record of ever calling us before and was annoyed that I might tell him his computer system was wrong. That was over a week ago, and they have called back twice since then... we're just letting it go to voicemail now. After reading these comments, I went to their website where you can email them and ask to be removed from the call list... we'll see if it works...
Here's an idea: Why not call Tucson police and complain of nuisance calls? I am definitely going to try that. The thought just hit me...FMR does business in Tucson AZ. Why don't we complain to the Tucson Better Business Bureau?Maybe a call to Tucson City Hall, which would have issued a business license to FMR , could have an effect. When I call Bruce Fohr's listed number, there is either a busy signal or recorded message, but no opportunity to leave a message. Apparently he only turns on his phone to make a call.
I just called the 520-886-5548 # and the man who answered said he would take me off the list
My landline appears to be a target for unwanted, unsolicited, scam calls...thinking of just doing away with it.
June 2016. I didn't get Debbie but the polite man at 520-886-5548 answered on the first ring and said he would remove my number.
