yup they call and hang up,,im getting rid of my home phone who needs it,, don't want these calls ,,,,, what is amazing that there are hundreds of these phone numbers and thousands of people reporting them,,,and most of these callers are up to no good as you know,,my phone company does not help,, so im going to shut down my home phone,,,then I will say " wow why didn't i do this before"" ,,,daaaaa ...

Continues to call daily. Would like to removemy number from their list?...Internet says they r a survey taker however research identifies retail collection associates

I get these calls where no one says anything so I block them with the code.

You can add a number to century link/Qwest's call rejection after the fact (using *78 to access your phone features and following the prompts). It is an option part of the phone package or on its own, most companies have multiple phone numbers - including the ones that aren't telemarketers. The biggest problem I've found is when they call as 'unknown', MOST of those and toll-free #'s are blocked with this service. Check with your phone company to see what options you have available.

Actually that's not true. According to the FCC, the only people that are exempt from the Do Not Call list are charities and the politiacal parties. A lot of the survey companies want to claim that they're exempt from it, but if you read the statute, it doesn't include survey companies in that area. Since survey company's by nature are trying to sell you something, even though it might not be inherent at this point, they're there to make money or they wouldn't be doing it. Keep in mind that once you try to get them to take you off the list, it takes 30 days for that to take effect, but each occurrence is a $25k fine for it being done. Most companies are willing to pay that as the vast majority of people won't take the time to fike a claim with the FCC.

well they still keep calling and hang up when my machine goes on....I will forward this info to the proper government people,, sometimes telemarketer companies rent out their 800# to other people to sell stuff or even scams ...this one says on my caller ID *Tucson AZ* ..... and is definitely annoying.. their are many other do not call or who called me, web sights complaiing about this number.. so it is a problem and most likley will shut off my home phone for good then not deal with this stuff anymore

Got a Call from these clowns on my cell today at 12:55-pm...32 pages of complaints on 800-Notes...these people are relentless....I didn't answer...

Received a call Sunday afternoon, 5:05 P.M. wanting me to do a survey. NO THANKS. They hung up.
