Sounds like a heavy accent woman, asks about my address, and my number, and says they are from the census bureau. The Census Bureau is located in Suitland, Maryland, but this number is from Tuscan TX. This is the third time they have called me, once in Feb, once in March, and once just now April 26th.

The next census isn't until 2020. I believe this to be a scam: ID is "LSA2 DOC BOC 99" the # is "520-798-4152"

Very thick hispanic accent. I couldn't understand her. I don't trust these types of phone calls.

Thanks Tom. Your link actually worked. Verified the 4152 number but more importantly verified the 888 number they were asking me to call as legit. Called them and they verified the phone number that the message was left on, but address on file was for a block away. She appologized and asked if I would mind correcting the address. I gave her the correct address for that phone number and was informed that I was not valid for the survey since I did not live at the address on file. No other information was requested.

Had a lady call our place of business from 520-798-4152 leaving a message that she was from US Census and that we needed to return her call at 1-866-226-2835. The 1-866 number is an old number from 2014 Census. They no longer use this number. Also, business census are only done by mail or in-person. I was told they do not call you. If you visit census.gov you can verify information.

This number is indeed the US Census. They run various survey's throughout the years. They called my place of business for a health insurance survey. It's legit. They only collect baseline info and mail the actual survey. Some surveys are mandatory, some are voluntary.

Kenneth: You are a SCAMMER flooding these sites with misinformation. The CensusBureau does not call people. If they want to contact you, they will use the US mail. Do not answer these calls, let the call go to VM. If you answer, they scammers know that they have a REAL person on the other end and will continue to call you.

Kenneth: You are a SCAMMER. There is NO US gov dept that calls people. All gov business is done by US mail. Both phone numbers: 520-798-4198 and 888-817-2153 are scams... they hook people with lower interest rates. Don't answer your phone, otherwise they know that they've got a REAL person. Let the calls go to VM and ignore. The calls are NOT from CensusBureau.
