I've gotten surveys and letters un mail for up to 3-4 years. I get census bureau calls from all over the county. I filled out survey 4 years ago. Kept sending stuff ever sense. I rip them up and put in the recycle bin. I answered 1 time and told them I filled out info once and data was no different now then before. Very annoying. Wish they all would stop. Luckily, I don't have voice mail set up, so I don't have to listen to them too. Now I don't ant # I don't recognize. Between them and solar panel sales people, I don't know who's worse

People call your congressman or or representatives give it to him the minute it comes in. Now all correspondence from the Census Bureau will go through him first. Tell him about the personal question that they want and we demand as taxpayer to stop this nonsense.If people don't mind giving all there personal information then give it too them. We should have the RIGHT to decline as free Americans to such nonsense. Yes 1994 is here and growing. Yes 520-798-4152 is the number they use or where they hide in there bunker.

Is this a scam number ?

I did receive a notice in the mail that I’d be receiving a call from the Census Bureau about a survey about the Consumer Price Index. Reading that this is assigned to the Census Bureau, this a rare legitimate caller among scam robocallers.

Received a card with the site address to go and fill out forms. It said, if I don't have a computer , they will mail forms. They did with no name but appt # and a card stating if I don't return filled out forms, they will come to my house. I asked my neibours, nobody received the papers. Forms were to invasive, I was uncomfortable giving all this information. Finally today call came from this #, so I decided to check it. I see it's going on few years already. Why nobody stops them ?

Received call from 520-798-4152 saying they were from the US Census Bureau. Said there were more than 30 questions not filled out on the census survey form and wanted to ask me questions on the phone and wanted my permission to record the call. I was suspicious so I refused and she got angry. Turns out the number that shows up on caller ID is a call center in Tuscon Arizona and they are listed as one of the call centers that the National Processing Center uses for handling the survey calls. A person at the US Census Bureau number I called said if I was uncomfortable answering these questions over the phone, just ask them to send another form for you to fill out. A bit of a hassle!

This call was at 11:15am on Sunday. When do Federal employees work on Sunday? Though I have been participating in a survey conducted by the Census Bureau, it has always been from the same person who originally interviewed me at home. I was ready to bite, until I read the comments here. Thank you.

My caller ID said LSA2 DOC BOC 99 so I doubt if it is census bureau. I have received legitimate calls from the census bureau and the caller ID always says census bureau. Also, the census bureau will always send a letter in advance of their calls.
