THIS COMPANY IS BORDERING ON HARRASMENT. THEY CALL WHILE I AM AT WORK, WHERE I CANNOT TAKE CALLS DURING CERTAIN TIMES OF MY SHIFT. I TELL THEM I DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE AND THEY KEEP CALLING. RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE WITH THEM.
This number has called me 5 times in the last 72 hours - all of which I was unable to answer because I was at work, and because of my job, I am banned by my employer and by state and federal safety regulations from taking phone calls while I am at work. However they refuse to leave a message that gives any information how to stop them OR return the call.; their callback number goes to a advertisement recording only.
This company keeps calling me and I keep telling them I do not want to participate in their survey. They won't take NO for an answer.
Yeah, right, only IF I say those *exact* words? You think we're nuts?I'd rather vent on the caller and use profanity. It will provide me with much more satisfaction.
I have previously worked at this company. All they do is conduct public opinion surveys. They do not try to sell anything ever, at any point. Which is why they are able to call people on the National Do Not Call List. If you read the fine print of the dnc list, it only bans telemarketers (people who are selling something), which thethis company does not do. Some surveys they even pay you to do, never by credit card though. Also, they do not call people past 9:00PM based on the recipients time zones, as to be respectful of people winding down their day.The phone numbers are randomly generated. Think of it like lottery numbers. If they want to call a certain area in America, it starts with that area code, then the next 7 numbers are done at random, and boom. There's the number that's going to be called.Think about all the statistics floating around in the news and around the internet about politics, religion, current events, etc. How do you think those stats are generated? A lot of it is from companies like this one, who get American's opinions to form research about it. It's simply just a survey. Also, next time you get a call, picture a young girl fresh out of high school trying to work hard for 108 hours a week, to save money for a car or a place to live, behind a desk on the telephone being insulted and cursed at and receiving death threats until she cries all because she is asking is for people to take a short survey. These people have jobs to do as well, and just because you don't appreciate the calls doesn't mean you have to ruin the day of someone just trying to do their job.
I report them to the FTC. It's a violation to call someone listed on the Do Not Call list and try and sell them something. They called and tried to sell me their questionnaire. I am not buying their product.
yes because someone doing their job deserves to have their whole entire day ruined simply for doing their job
