Got a call from this number 540-898-8818) on my business line. When I answered with my company name, he asked if he had reached a business. I said yes and he apologized and hung up without identifying himself or his company. Clearly they are looking to hassle people at home trying to relax after a hard days work and since it was 6PM when he called, they like to hassle you during dinner. They claim to do social surveys (probably for a political party or the NRA, etc). You unfortunately can't BLOCK calls like these unless the company itself is willing to take your info off their list because the Gov't says surveys are allowed to bother you like this.

Phone bills are not paid so households can be harassed for all things possible at anytime of the day or night. This is one of the main reasons people do not want landlines anymore. I especially don't need, when told of the time and not to call back, for the black-[***] caller to start chuckling because its just so god damned funny that people are getting tired of it. Princeton Data, or whoever this line is registered to needs to have their building burnt down. Wouldn't that be funny too?

Keep receiving calls from this number saying they're doing a survey on cell phone users. Anyone else getting these calls? How did you get rid of them?

How nice. And your point is...? ...that you are somehow 'superior' and 'nice' because you are not fed up with these calls or even door-to-door solicitors? (Most of the door-to-door solicitors we get are religious proselytizers like you - or con artists selling unlicensed 'home improvements.') Would you also require yourself - and everyone else, of whom you are obviously "The Boss" - to be 'polite' and 'civil' to a thief, rapist, or murderer who broke into your home? Where is your line? Are you happily handing out your personal info and credit card numbers to all the 'nice people' who only want to give you a 'free cruise' or '$1000 Walmart Gift Card' or a 'free Home Security System' or 'lowered interest rates?'I have a 'right' to be angry, with good reasons for it. Why must I tolerate being BULLIED in my own home with 'rules' as to how I must 'take' it from a well-intentioned, but poorly executed law? HOW is that a 'pea-brained' point??? Is YOUR only way to make any 'points' is to NAME CALL to INTIMIDATE? YOU, then, are NO BETTER than the telemarketers, ESPECIALLY the CRIMINAL ONES that use name calling and profanity. Is that what "Good Christians" - or whatever religion you claim to follow - do?I engage in PLENTY of civil discourse and, in fact, am a well-known activist for social and environmental issues in my area. I just don't like having it FORCED upon me, in the PRIVATE setting of MY OWN HOME, on MY OWN PRIVATE, self-FUNDED PHONE & line, as I've said before. PRIVATE is PRIVATE; PUBLIC is PUBLIC. One can have BOTH in one's life, simultaneously and separately! WHAT is so 'ignorant' or difficult to understand about that??? If these intrusions are not something that bothers you, then why don't you PUBLISH **your phone number** HERE so that everyone who wants to "engage" in "healthy conversations" about it with someone as *astute* and *informed* on the issue as you are, can.I'll stick to my point. The GOVERNMENT *CAN NOT* and *WILL NOT* determine FOR me WHO can call, WHEN they can call or WHY they can call. Only a Communist would think otherwise.

Called my cell phone and said he was from Princeton Research doing a survey about cell phone usage. He called at 11:50pm my time on a Friday night. Gave him an indignant earful and hung up.

Called one night and told them I did not want to take there survey. Called back in a few days after family members had gone to bed. Didn't get to phone on time. Called back 3 nights later. Told them I was on the Do Not Call Registry but operator claimed they weren't selling anything so were not included. Refused to tell me how long the survey would take. Told them they had 3 minutes of my time. Operator said she could not guarantee that. Reiterated my request not to be called again and ended call.

NINTH CALL from this number since 6/11/14; SIXTH CALL in THREE WEEKS and THIRD CALL within the last THREE DAYS. We HAVE "TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL" *AND* BLOCKED their number, but THEY *REFUSE* to STOP **AND** on 9/17/14 they called at **9:03PM** - A VIOLATION of the DNC LAW. Even though they are now BLOCKED - and we will NEVER ANSWER their calls or 'surveys', we are STILL DISTURBED by the ONE RING of our blocking system before it disconnects. WHY does the COMPUTER/ROBODIALER not register that it is being DISCONNECTED after one ring, which is an indication of being blocked and THEREFORE interpret it as 'DO NOT CALL?' The other calls have been: 6/11/14 7:55PM (REJECTED, BLOCKED); 6/20/14 6:21PM; 8/9/14 7:08PM; 8/29/14 7:15PM; SA. 9/13/14 11:11AM; 9/17/14 **9:03PM** (VIOLATION!); SA. 9/20/14 11:09AM; *SU.* 9/21/14 7:31PM; M 9/22/14 6:57PM.

Received this call to do a survey for a Non-Profit group. They offered me $5 to complete the survey. I've worked as a telemarketer and tell me say, its the worst job you can have. The pay isn't the best, nobody "likes" telemarketers and my experience is that the supervisors/bosses are f*cking nuts. So know all of this, I took the survey. It took about 10 minutes and were simple yes/no questions. At the end he asked where to send the $5 check and I declined to receive the payment. People, I get it if you're busy but if you aren't busy, Why not do the simple survey??? We all read articles that contain statistics. Where do you think that information comes from?
