YOU are a MORON. OF COURSE people can 'get calls at 6AM' even if the call center is only open "10AM to 10PM" **IF** the cell phone is *physically* IN ANOTHER AREA, far away from its 'home' area code, and numerous TIME ZONES away.This has happened to EVERYONE in our family when we were traveling OVERSEAS.Just because YOU live in a tiny little world, doesn't mean everyone does.

Only problem? That's means we have to PAY for a LONG DISTANCE call or use up CELL MINUTES to do that.WHY MUST I **PAY** TO BE LEFT ALONE???

You couldn't be MORE WRONG.Answer even ONE survey and you will be INUNDATED with these calls. I know. In the mid to late '90's I used to be signed up with a survey company as a regular survey taker. Started out as testing products in our home and filling out written surveys that sometimes I mailed in and sometimes I just waited for the company to call me. Did it for 'fun' and for the free food/products that my family got to enjoy. Sometimes there was a nominal payment of $1 to $10 for my time or coupons for the 'real' products when they came on the market to the general public. The survey company was always VERY polite, considerate and wonderful to work with.Then, that company got bought out - and not by 'nice' people. They SOLD my name, address, phone number and personal info (DOB, names of family members & DOBs that we had to submit to the original co.) to DOZENS of other 'companies' - and SCAMMERS. We began to get 6-8 calls NIGHTLY and more in the daytime, as well. The TOOLS that called were rude, abusive and wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I had to SCREAM at them, and tell them to STOP in front of my young children (that was before Caller ID was available in our area, so could not screen these calls.) It was a nightmare. I quit the marketing/survey company but had to THREATEN TO SUE to get the calls to stop.They STILL haven't stopped on the phone line they used all those years ago (yes, I still have that phone number.) I think a lot of the SPAM/SCAM calls I get are related to those surveys I did so many years ago.ANSWER SURVEYS at your own risk. You never know WHO is COMPILING INFO on you and your family. Its a form of SPYING on us all.And, of course they ARE Selling....your info to CORPORATOCRACIES.

I received a call from this number but thanks to my call blocker call was blocked

I wouldn't give them any information as I think they are trying to steal your identity. I didn't get calls from this number until I ran a craiglist ad selling something and now I get numerous calls from this number but I don't know anybody in VA at the moment so I don't answer. The craiglist person from another number claims to be in the military with an urgent need to buy something I have for sale on website for local purchasing over 1000 miles away....Says they are in a military base in Texas. His number is in Minnesota.....Seems odd and suspicious...Anybody else deal with this?.
