I received another call from this number on June 13 at 5:29 p.m. Numerous calls lately. I picked the phone up and ask them what they wanted. They ask for someone I have no idea who he is. I yelled at her and made her upset and told her I was going to sue them if I receive any more calls.

Got a call from this number was ask to leave my name, SS#, or my account number. NO WAY!!! Call them back pushed 0 for the operator, ask what company this was said it was DIVERSIFIED , I ask what kind of company is this, she said can not tell you, ask if anyone left name who call, I said not, Transferred me to a lady and left a message for me to leave my name, phone number , SS#, or account number, NO WAY!!!! hung up phone, I owe no back student loans, I am on time with my payment and have no outstanding loans, This is a SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who this is. They did not leave a message

I received a call from number 541-955-7800, Kelly Richards, stating that she was calling for an old frind, one I haven't spoken to in 3 years. She said he had listed me as a reference, so that's why she was calling. She proceded to ask if he still lived and asking if she could get a contact phone number... At which time I asked what the reference was in regards to. She said it was a business matter and without his permission she could not give any information. My mom received a call from a lady today from this number. Of course Asking for me. My mom told her that I wasn't here, and if she could take a message. So that I could call her back. The lady demanded my mom's name and then hung up. Called back, said they got disconnected and then decided to get nasty with my mom. Using profanity, and just being plan nasty. My mom finally got nasty back at her, told her off and hung up. If this is a so called Collection Agency, why would they use profanity, and be rude. I thought they had to be professional. Is their a way that I may complain about the lady. I do have student loans, but I am paying on all them. So this makes no since to me.

From the posts sounds like Preformant Reco, DIVERSIFIED or OneMain Financial (888-202-1333) are all connected as we have gotten calls from the first & third; OneMain Financial asked for someone unknown to us but when I called back to chew them out a new a.s.o.e they would not talk unless I gave them my SS#; fat chance of that. They denied calling the fax line but our business lines caller ID does not lie about date, time or whom. Both of us are college grads from the 1970's, one is retiring this fall & the other next fall; neither of us had college loans and seems a fat chance that if we did after 40 plus years they would ever collect. No message left so do not know what they want; just another number to never answer & send to the trash barrel.

I have received 4 phone calls from this number in 9 days. They do not leave a message & I do not answer. The only debt I owe is my mortgage and my student loan, which I pay EVERY MONTH. Can I still report this to someone, even if I do not answer?

You might have been listed as a personal friend of someone who took out loans, if they dont pay, the collectors will call references to track them down.

Female....and I say female because this human being was definitely not a lady in any sense of the word, called wanting info about another person. When I wanted info from her.....she repeated her name....DUH ! ! I said that I heard her....But WHO are you ? Her reply was "Why are you yelling at me" .... I told her "YOU called me....WHO are you?" Finally I told her she's a [***]....and she said "NO, YOU ARE" (Insert lots of laughing here..because that is what we use to reply to kids back in grade school). Crazy world where people like that can get a job working the phone ! ! ! ! !
