What most of you have replied is the most sound response. None!! I owe nothing and if anyone I know does.. I'm not going to help a collection agency!

These people are bottom feeders calling anyone they can, asking personal questions and refusing to answer any questions that you ask of them. Pure trash. If they came to my door I would sick the dogs on them.

I picked up the phone and hung it back up. I get sooo many of these calls I have tired of interracting with them. I just block it.

Good grief. These guys are still using the number from 2009. I just got my first call from them Nov 26, 2014. Now they are using the caller ID Preformant Reco. Can't confirm that it is the same scam because I didn't answer. However, it came in on a number I no longer use and that I now get a bunch of scammer calls on.

Their websites are : PerformantCorp.com aka DCSQuickPay.com aka EpayQuick.com aka DCSrac.com. Their business names are : Performant aka Performant Recovery Inc aka Performant Financial Corporation aka Diversified Collection Services Inc aka DCS Inc. Their addresses are : P. O. The representatives name is Hal Cox. The supposed Amount Referred : $240.91. The supposed Current Balance : $192.73. The supposed Pay This Amount : $38.55. The supposed Due Date : 12-13-14. This postal mailing is in direct violation of the FDCPA Section 809 (b). Our business has NO prior notices of ANY delinquent accounts, no outstanding student loans, no outstanding debts other than to our regular Net 30 distributors (who would call us if we were past due, which we are not). We clearly do not have any debt with them or anyone else, so this past due collection attempt is clearly FRAUD. We WILL be filling a formal complaint directly with the BBB, the FTC.gov, and the AG's Office of California for attempted fraud.

Was looking for a friend, they could not reach. Said it was a recorded line, would not give any information so I did not either, told them if they can't tell me what this is about this call is done, they started saying the same scripted response I hung up.

This number calls and leaves no message. Another complainer said they are a collection agency. I have no debts in collection, so their records are wrong, or they're calling on one of my grandchildren. Either way, I am not involved and want them to STOP CALLING

I received a call on my work phone from some woman from this company. She refused to identify herself or the company or even what the company does other than what was on my caller ID. She had my name and asked me to verify someone else's DOB/SSN. She apologized and hung up.

I received a call yesterday from this number. The person calling said he was checking the references for a Vance ??? and that I was listed as his reference. I stated I am sorry but I do not know a Vance. The guy went off on me because I needed to identify myself when I answer my cell phone. I just laughed and he hung up. I was not going to provide any info, I felt like he was phishing. I have blocked the number. The way this guy acted tells me they may not be legit.
