These people are harassing me for a relatives debt. I am not responsible for this person nor did I cosign on any of his loans. I believe it is a student loan but not entirely sure. I do not know how or why they have my phone number. They make it clear upfront that the call is being recorded an use various intimidation tactics to get what they want. I did not give out any information, first of all because I'm sure who these people are and secondly I do not have current information on the person of whom they are inquiring about. My take is, unless you are the individual they are seeking and you choose to speak with them, do not give out any information concerning other people.

why is this disgusting? if you paid your debts like you're supposed to, they wouldn't be calling you. get a clue, and stop being a loser liberal who thinks the world owes you a living.

NO ONE SOLD YOUR NUMBER!! the DNC list is not nor will it ever stop these people from calling you as that is NOT WHAT IT IS FOR!! you sound like just another upset, hate filled liberal who thinks the whole world owes you a living. these dialers are software on a computer that takes a number (say 673-555-1111) and after dialing that number, automatically adds 1 to it and then dials 673-555-1112 and after dialing that number automatically adds a one to it and dials 673-555-1113 and so on and so on. so eventually they're gonna dial your "unlisted" number which you seem to think is going to stop them from calling you? seriously, you really need to get a clue.

Received a call from this number at my workplace, asking for a previous employee. Collecting debt at one's place of work is ILLEGAL.The woman who called was not rude to me. She called and immediately said it was a recorded line, looking for a previous employee by name. She was very courteous when I told her the employee was no longer with us and said she would correct this mistake immediately and to have a good day.

Why don't you just tell her the last you heard that person was dead. If they really want to talk to them, they need to get a Ouija board.

I got a call from them trying to find out about a neighbor. I have a unlisted number and it's none of my business!
