Their own website reports they are located in US, UK and Canada, Good luck in getting thru to anyone with ethics. Their 555# is a subsidiary called Allied Int'l Credit (AIC). They are a collections agency for hundreds of companies big and small. They prefer the biggies. Just remember, if you don't recognize the #, don't pick up OR call them back.

Capital Management, debt collector, they call from varying 800 numbers

They say they are Capital Management Services a collection agency!

It a collection agency. I rcd a call from this number and they left a message. The woman said she's with Capital Management Services, it's regarding a debt and to call her back at 888-653-2382. I have an account that i'm disputing and they're trying to collect on it.

Got a call from these creeps. It is capital Management services. They are debt collectors for Chase, Bank America and a few more. They are lowest scum bags you will come across. Had a bad accident 4 years ago and wrote all of them and told them. I live in SC .The stature of limitations has expired. I cut off my ringer. Only special people know how to call me. They lie to AT&T to get your phone number. At&T falls for their lies every time. Both my numbers are unlisted. Operators fall for their lies every time. My brother didn’t just get hurt. He died 47 years ago. So you can see how they lie.

I received a call from 555-555-1212 this evening. Who is this? I don't even think there's such an area code as 555, and I thought the 555-1212 used to be used only by the telephone company. What gives?

got a call from a mike about an antique pistol for sale and to call 555 555 1212--decided to check where this odd area code was from as an out of state sale has to go through a dealer--after reading comments here I think I will pass on calling back--if legit--he will call back

Hi, I think that number 555-555-1212 used to be a utility called "time" when I called it as a kid, we would hear the correct time to set our clocks to before cell phones and satelites. A recording would answer, "At the tone, the time will be 11:51 a.m. and 50 seconds, BEEP!" Also, I saw it on an Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate sign on a video, so, I think it is a "non-number." That does not exist. But, since I am an APRE Real Estate agent, I was curious and dialed it, and it goes to nothing. I got calls from 999-999-9999 and it was bogus to nothing. I think there are some computer programs that auto dial and if they want to go stealth they put in a bogus number, but, I went down to Verizon and they told me they had no idea how it could show up on my phone. Also, on movies when they give out their "phone number" it is always bogus so that kids do not prank call after seeing the movie. Hmmm....I wonder who really knows? Irene Benenati
