someone unidentified called my home today @ 10:59am; and threatened to 'cut off your insurance.' my wife asked them to call back after 5pm when 'my husband gets home,' and they hung up.I called the number, and got that annoying three tone message that said 'number is disconnected or no longer in service.' how the hell is that possible?? there must be some way to trace these idiots and put them out of business. I hope I'm home when they call again--they'll get an earful of AIR HORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got a call from the number, missed it so i checked caller ID and called back. Message stated number was disconnected.
Initially received a recording asking if I wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate. Asked for operator who hung up on me once I requested who was calling.
Just got this call from "Heather" I called back 5 minutes later and a guy answered and said I had the wrong number.
It's a computer generated call where they can spoof any number they choose. I'm guessing they just spoof disconnected or out of service numbers so you can not call them back.

It's a credit card scam. They aren't interested in lowering the interest rate on your credit card. They are interested in running up the balance on it. DO NOT give these scammers any personal info!
said it was an over seas call. and of course i could not call back. would appreciate no more calls at all my number is a cell number and is also on a do not call list and has been for the last 6 months.
They called my cell phone and didnt say where they were calling from, just that its urgent that I call them and lower my interest rate to 6%. I was asked to press 1 to talk to a rep and 2 to stop recieveing messages. They said this was my last warning. HOw do they get my cell number when I'm on those do not call lists?

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
