At first it was automated- saying if I was interested in lowering my credit card interest rates to push 1. When I did a man who said his name was Richard Laera said he was from Card Services. He asked a few questions and then said he would need a credit card number to verify my accounts were active. I told him there was no way I was giving out a credit card number and he promptly hung up on me. It showed that the call was from Boca Raton, FL. When I tried to call the number back it was disconnected. Complete SCAM!
I recieved a call at 2:26 MST today, the call said it was from card services and this was my last chance to lower my interest rate. I have received these types of calls for the last year and they are always different caller ids. I have pressed the option to be removed from the list and still get the calls. Like others have said if you press the option to talk to someone as soon as you mention being removed from the call list they hang up on your. If you try to get any information on how to contact you back they will hang up on you.
We've gotten several recorded messages from this one offering to lower our credit card rates, followed by "press one now" - as soon as I ask to be removed from their call list they hang up. When I call back the number has been disconnected. One operator did call this business "credit card services" Yeah, right.
Got one too. Anybody got this in the works with any legal authorities to neuter this yob? We ought to mess with him every time he calls. Hit #1 when you get a call from the number and say "Llama" as soon as you know he can hear. He'll eventually get the idea that people are catching on.
Got the recorded message they could lower my interest rate. I too am on the "do not call" list so I simply hung up.
I received a call from this number on my cellular phone that indicated that my auto warranty had expired. I hung up before I could hear anything else. Sounds like someone could be Phishing so beware if they call you.
Got a call from this number but did not answer. No message left. Called back less than 2 minutes after original call was received and the number was disconnected. I am on the do not call list as well.

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
