march 2011 Hello, my name is Cliff Burnstein. I'm the am the director of artist management for Q prime management. We are a management firm for musical artists. One of the groups we represent is the band Stone Temple Pilots. The reason for this e mail is Rob DeLeo, the bass player was recently in Toronto. He had wanted me to try to schedule an overnight Appt. w/you at that time, however there just wasn't time in his schedule during the short time he was there to allow this to happen. He is now in South Florida dealing w/ a new house in between tour dates, that he has recently acquired. He has a little more time there now and has once again asked me to try and get in touch w/you regarding an overnight ( probably a multi-day) appt.. ( they are getting ready to pick up their tour again out of the country they are scheduled to start again this month (however as it looks like the first couple of shows are going to be postponed he wants to try and take advantage of the extra time he gets) I do not know what your availability is, or what your schedule is like, however if you are interested and avail. this would be for A.S.A.P.. Obviously we would take care of all the necessary travel arrangement through our in house travel dept., by booking. pre-paying and having all travel confirmations (flight,hotel, and car ) e-mailed to you prior to your leaving to see him. I do want to tell you in all honesty i actually tried to talk him OUT of doing this by explaining to him that there are allot of beautiful girls inMiami that we could find to entertain him while there but he wanted me tocontact you anyway, so here we are. I totally fell for this dirtbag. After trying to do my research now, too late, I feel really lucky that I am now home safe. This guy is GOOD at pretending to be someone else. I am a bit of a jaded woman and still fell for it. He and his partner have this down pat. I luckily got away with only (only!?!?!) being scammed away 2 grand between cash and credit card. I feel terrible that someone else paid for my flights though. I will be contacting the police dept down there first thing. How has this guy been doing this for so long? Also, now that I'm totally freaked out, has anyone who has seen him been tested since seeing him? I'm scared about what he could be carrying around.

Hi Ladies - This is just awful to know SO many of us have been scammed horribly ! I deleted my email from them BUT he used the alias of "Larry Mazer from Entertainment Services Unlimited and "Roy Mayorga the drummer of Stone Sour" !this happened to me on July 12th ! I was VERY lucky that I did not have my ID, or the one cc I brought with, stolen ! When I left to fly down to meet him my bank account was very low and I left waiting for an automatic check to go though in my account (it was delayed, and ended up not have any money on me at all) This has never happened to me before (traveling with very little money) .. so I had $500 transferred from my sis in law - Of course he spent it all !!! Said I would get it back .. bought drugs (crack) and cared about NOTHING but getting high. Brought me to a car dealership .. and told me after talking to the guy for a while that he "decided to buy the car" (a car that cost 250,000) ALL LIES !!!! When they realized that they could not get anything from me - they made up another horrible lie that I foolishly believed - that "Roy's" brother in law was killed that morning and I was being sent on a plane back home. THANK GOD !!!! It was an AWFUL experience ... KARMA IS A [***] ROBERT WEINER & DEAN FLEMMING ... I'll look forward to hearing this story on the news around the country soon enough : -)

I just contacted the real Larry Mazer to let him know what is going on and contacted the real Roy Mayorga though email (didn't actually speak with Roy). Larry is contacting the police as well. I think if everyone who gets these letters ... contacts the real people, and let them know - it might help !!! Has anyone else done this ???

So this just happened to me, they used the names Cliff Burnstein & Rob DeLeo, took $1,400 from me, didnt compensate for time spent...and now Im stuck in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
