I fell victim to this scam in September of last year. I was contacted by broward county 2 weeks ago and they are supposedly pressing charges. I am waiting to hear back.

Rob weiner flew me in frm west coast On may 2, 2011 after talking to cliff burnstein...I picked him up at what is listed as his addy on beware of rob weiner page...prestige auto dealers let me drive a new ferrari that he later "bought"but his money guy was gonna call.. I even told the owner who really is the owner as he is on cover of a fl magazine with 100 influential people I used to sell cars, but ther was no negotiating price except later driving away he talked to someone who he said to get a great deal on the ferrari ..scary that the owner of the place shook my hand n said he remembered this guy and knew he had bought a saleen, lambo, etc...they didn't ask for my license and I drove a 300$k car..guys at a new car Ferrari dealer n is scary that they are in on it...wonder what else is goin on besides robbing escorts..got story strippers stole his credit cards...he drives like the nut he is...I took off when I realized it was all bs...but I will gladly give him the 5 CDs he left in my car n phn charger when he pays me the dough he promised me...theft by deception in the legal sense..he was convicted of child molesting and it will be good to let the population at his next prison stay know this...hope u have someone to send u lube in their rob...ha ha weiner...ur day is coming

This guy is back and using email as well to contact people. Here is the note he sends. I know two local ladies who fell for this and went to Florida and ended up in disastrous situations. We are a management firm for musical artists. One of the groups we represent is the band Stone Temple Pilots. The reason for this e mail is Rob DeLeo, the bass player was recently in Detroit . He had wanted me to try to schedule an overnight Appt. w/you at that time, however there just wasn't time in his schedule during the short time he was there to allow this to happen. He is now in South Florida dealing w/ a new house in between tour dates, that he has recently acquired. He has a little more time there now and has once again asked me to try and get in touch w/you regarding an overnight ( probably a multi-day) appt.. ( they are getting ready to pick up their tour again out of the country they are scheduled to start again this month (however as it looks like the first couple of shows are going to be postponed he wants to try and take advantage of the extra time he gets) I do not know what your availability is, or what your schedule is like, however if you are interested and avail. this would be for A.S.A.P.. Obviously we would take care of all the necessary travel arrangement through our in house travel dept., by booking. pre-paying and having all travel confirmations (flight,hotel, and car ) e-mailed to you prior to your leaving to see him. Just spoke with FBI ...send copies of emails to them at i3c.gov and report to local authorities to put these guys away. Escorting is legal. The FBI said to save emails as they contain valuable ip info..the more they get the more likely they will act..I will include the flight info that was bought with stolen cc unknown to me at first
