Couldn't find this number in any Kaiser directory related to Downey California. FYI Kaiser has been hacked once before that I know of and it was in the news! Plus the caller id said "KAISER FOUNDATI" and not Kaiser Permanente.Kaiser Permanente Central Refill Pharmacy9521 Dalen St · (562) 401-4214WEBSITEDIRECTIONSBKaiser Permanente Orchard Medical Offices9449 Imperial Hwy · (800) 823-4040WEBSITEDIRECTIONSCKaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center9333 Imperial Hwy · (800) 823-4040Open 24 hours
Got another call today from this number. They call me and an automated voice says this is Kaiser Permanente, the system has encountered an error, please try your call again in a few hours. I am a Kaiser member, but in Denver, not California. I didn't call them, so "trying my call again" doesn't happen. I get this call maybe once a month, but never have any idea if they have something useful to tell me! Annoying, and a waste of time.
The last time I changed my personal information at Kaiser(phone number), that same day I started to receive scam calls and when I checked my name on a search engine, all of my information including my unlisted phone number is listed so everyone can see it. I receive no less that 15 calls everyday from numbers I don't know and just let them go to answering machine. I am going to change my number and will not give it to Kaiser. They can mail me a letter from now on.
You think that's wierd? I live on the East coast and the call was from California informing me a prescription was ready for pickup.
Wish I'd found this site sooner. I blocked this number not knowing it was from the pharmacy. I have since unblocked it and will now know when my prescriptions are ready. Thanks you.
2:00PM - I was expecting a call from Kaiser so I answered - dead air. If it's actually Kaiser, all they need to do is leave a message so I SEROUSLY doubt all the calls made were actually Kaiser inasmuch as they would already know who you are as well as your member number and, as such would have no need to ASK for information. What's so "sick" about this is that it can easily trick people into providing info to someone using a spoofed number and caller ID. Many posters have received "legitimate" calls from "this number" and have posted accordingly. Just be careful, things aren't always as they "appear."
Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy Automated call center keeps calling me, even though I am not a member, I do not have an account with them, nor do I fill my prescriptions there.
