Because we are having trouble picking up remote messages from Kaiser I'd like some one to tell them to send an e-mail instead - no way to know which service is calling. We've had 3 in the last 3 days - no hint of why - an appointment gone wrong, billing problems b/o new credit card, been exposed to a horrible disease? Or use one of the alternate numbers.

Suppose someone's already told you - these are not bad guys and are not covered by DNC. If you're not a Kaiser member someone's given them your number. Lots of nasties out there. Even the DA can't help without more information.

started to get on my nervous ...Kaiser called 3 times with a non sense recorded message only in few days.... there's better way to improve their services than annoying people with idiotic calls.

Yes, call them and let them know there is an error. It's an easy fix. But they can't fix what they don't know. People change residences, they change phone numbers, etc. If you had any idea on the Hipaa restrictions and how many calls we may place to one individual in an attempt to reach them to perform our jobs in providing members with quality health care, you wouldn't be so quick to be annoyed.

do you see how illogical this statement is? A patient's chart is pulled up, there is data (including address and phone numbers) on their chart. We call all numbers to reach the patient. How would we contact a patient to change their phone number if we don't have the correct phone number on file (patient has moved to another region or state, has been placed in a residential facility, etc and no forwarding contact information has been provided to Kaiser)? Southern CA has more than 3.5 million members, and Northern California has more than 3.4 million members.
