This company calls and leaves no message, but keeps calling back. Somewhere in the message they leave - which doesn't record fully.....your will hear: "this is your final call as it relates to the financial stimulus package. This is your final call.....blah, blah, blah....." They never identify themselves. If you call back, they have a recording that will offer to put you on a do not call, but they still don't identify themselves so you can't confirm that it has been done.It would sure be great if a law was passed that required robo calls to (1) identify themselves within 10-15 seconds of being answered, and (2) when you return a calls to those numbers, to automatically feed you to a real human within 30 seconds or be liable for $500 per call. That MIGHT get their attention.
First called me on 4/20 using the same spoofed number. Caller ID just says Arlington, VA. Called this AM at 9:18, same caller ID. Still calling a phone number we do not answer, ever. We keep ringer volume on that line so low we don't hear it ring. I have to check Caller ID to see who called. Since they spend time trying to reach me (will NEVER happen) it saves someone else from being scammed. BTW, American Express has cards with zero interest rates, they probably just hang up if you tell them that. They are lower than dirt so don't answer and if you do don't give them one bit of info about yourself or your credit cards.
I picked up the call and there was no sound. I said hello several times. I said, "I can't hear anything. I am going to hang up." and then the call ended.
WRONG. Wrongwrongwrongwrong WRONG. Why would scammers PAY for the list when they can use a computer to dial every number in an area code in order and find numbers that way? Do a little research next time

Keep getting calls from this number. Caller ID says 'Alberta' so looks like it's from the Provincial Government, but no-one there if I pick up and never leaves a message.
