I called the number back from my work phone. A recorded message came on saying, "Welcome to Las Vegas Roulette." It's an online gambling sales pitch.
Got 1 ring from this number at 5:50 am. Husband's cell (one digit higher than mine) rang 2 minutes later from a number one digit higher than this. Both now blocked.
it's a way to circumvent the DNC list. They call and hang up. You call it back to see who it was. YOU called them and their sales pitch/scam is thrown at you. Do NOT return their call. It may also be a way to see if a phone number is a live number.
Called me @ 1am. Called back and it answered and the first thing it said was $1000 and then said welcome to las Vegas roulette....uhhh wtf
