Well, it's 2014 and this number is still making calls, and it is still from Lester (a telemarketer). Beware! It is calling my business landline and I do not have time for this. Very annoying.
Asked for owner by full first name (everyone uses his nickname) - when I asked who was calling, he hung up on me.
These folks change phone numbers frequently. They also routinely manipulate their outgoing Caller ID data--they make their phone numbers display some very misleading names at times--today it was simply "Kentucky." The callers (both men and women) almost always speak with a heavy Indian accent. They call for someone in my office at least once a week. They have a list of names and they go right through it. When I press for information about the nature of the call, they say it is about renewing a free magazine subscription. I'm well acquainted with all the magazines my engineers receive, and they without exception renew by survey cards, never by phone call. These callers refuse to identify themselves and range from aggressive to hostile in their relentless pursuit of personal data. This has been going on for at least two years now: a recurring drain on productivity..

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
