Just now and robo program caught it. They just won't quit. This is the 13th call in two months.

Well both Phona Thon and the nomorobo or the spoofing of the number are blocked.I accidentally blocked the nomorobo number but that helps.Because now the phone won't ring and bother me.

drgoodie, I have the same problem trying to include N_M_R_B in my messages. I suspected it was the dot com part of it that flags it, but maybe not.

If you have Nomorobo on your phone (to stop those pesky robo calls), when a suspected robo call comes through your phone will ring once and Nomorobo will play a message asking if you're human type in a code. If the code is entered, the call is allowed through and shows the 608-371-6666 phone number. If you Google the number, the Nomorobo help desk page should be the first item you see and will explain everything. I hope this helps, I thought it was a scam call too.

Folks, The number that shows up is NoMorRobo. If you are signed up for it.....It DOES ALLOW live people to enter a passcode number to prove they are live and not a robocall. If they are a live person and enter the code AT the block robocall center correctly it is SENT BACK to your phone but the ID NUMBER will be the call it was sent back from No more robo calls. There is no spoofing of the number. You will get ONE ring, then if the robocall is a live person they enter the code correctly, no more robo calls sends the call back to you with their number NOT the robocallers number. I don't know why it's so hard to understand. If you signed up for it you should have read no more robocalls how to use guide. I get calls and some are live people who enter the right code no more robocalls asks for, if the ensuing number ends in 6666 then that means the LIVE robocaller got through and I ignore the second call, I let it ring and they hang up before the voice mail kicks in. lol

This is the same thing that happened with me. Blocked the scums original number of 510 955-9859 and then this one called. Claimed to be USA SOLAR... This number has been complained aboiut since 2013. You guys are reporting it to the FCC right?3/16

As stated previously, this is the NoMo RoBo number you call to report a robo call that was not blocked. They never actually call you but you see this number displayed when a second call comes in too soon after or even while the service is handling a robo call for you. No need to ever answer calls from this number and you can safely block it and not miss wanted calls.
