This is the second time I've noted that we receive a call from this number immediately after one ring from a local real estate agent (I recognize the agent's name and know he calls around). My Nomorobo allows live callers to enter digits to prove they're not robo callers, so I've wondered if this is what he does and then this number shows up on Caller ID with the Janesville, WI association. Aside from being able to spoof numbers and IDs (a service audaciously offered on-line), there's finger-pointing over who is responsible for maintaining a data base of correct identifications. Many of us in my community receive a mix of legit and questionable calls that display UMASS MEMORIAL. The businesses and the residents of private lines to whom this happens are surprised to hear that they are misidentified, and can't seem to get it corrected. Anyway, I love our Nomorobo!

I have numbers blocked on xfinity and some were still getting thou even though had blocked. One number blocked from Ascension point as they call every day more than once. Then couple weeks ago set up nomorobo and had been working until today.Phone rang once stopped rang again so they got thru block & nomorobo. It was Ascension point looking for executor for someone I have never heard of. Told him to stop calling this phone #. I a, not answering phone again they are making me angry!

Somehow these a$$holes are getting past my call blocker - the number is blacklisted and you also have to announce yourself to get through. Have over 50 calls in the past week - no message and I have rejected/blacklisted each call received while at home.

This is caller is "Piggy-Backing the Nomorobo Blocking System".......this caller has created a method to "Immediately intercept and call phone numbers" WITHIN SECONDS AFTER nomorobo has blocked a call.I received a call today from Caller ID: "UC Research" with phone number 303-872-5952 which NomoRobo blocked.5 Seconds Later I received a call from Caller ID Janesville, WI & Phone (608) 371-6666 shown on this web page.I answered the call and a man with foreign accent began to speak about a Microsoft computer repair problem.....I then hung-up.....I only have MAC computers anyways.Apparently several other landline users are reporting the SAME ACTIVITY at 800notes.com Other users are also receiving a call blocked by nomorobo and seconds later, they're receiving a 2nd call from (608) 371-6666 .I've reported this to Nomorobo.

This is a number used by Nomorobo. When a live agent on the other end punches in the code, it rings with this.

NOMOROBO blocks a call and prompts to enter a number to prove they are a real person to let the call go through. That is why you get calls coming so close together with different numbers. If 608-371-6666 is NOMOROBO then the number before it is the actual caller number. NOMOROBO is working on a feature for a call log, but you should check your own logs or caller ID for the number.

This number is actually from a popular call block service (NMR), patching through the call that was intercepted moments before. LIVE telescum, who are able to enter the requested verification code, allows them to to effectively bypass NMR, resulting in NMR patching the call back to you.In my case, phone rings at 11:00 with Telescums spoofed number and is intercepted by NMR, then at 11:01, phone rings again, this time with a Wisconsin area code, later verified to be NMR patching through the live telescum.

My other number was 3154463403. Both came in back-to-back. 608 number was second.

This comes in as a robocall "blocked" number, then immediately rings back with the 608-371-6666. Never leaves message. Calls about twice a week
