Received a call from 1-608-371-6666 at 8:05 PM last night. It rang several times and robocall did not block call. Since I go to bed early and get up to go to work at 1:00 AM, my phone is on night time silencer. I could see the call coming through because phone lit up. Did not answer call. Never answer calls from number I do not recognize.
Did not know this.... got two calls 508-499-8485 Oxford Ma, then 608-371-6666 within 30 secs. went to voice mail and of course no message. The robocall is great... and these creeps trying to override this service is maddening!!!!!
Same experience as others describe... seems to be a Nomorobo number that shows after unrecognized callers have validated in some way that they were not robocalls. In my case it was a call from Quicken Loans. The caller ID displayed 608-371-6666 but the caller left a call back number of 313-545-2119 or 866-349-8543. So I guess my gripe would be with Nomorobo for routing unrecognized calls to a new anonymous number which can't be identified. I still won't pick up, but it's not a good idea to block this number either since the people who get through have probably verified that they were not robots.
Definitely a call forwarded through Nomorobo, which is why the two calls in a row. Once the original caller has somehow validated that they are not a robot, they are apparently forwarded via Nomorobo's special line - which makes blocking tricky with these non-robo calls. Nomorobo blocks only robo calls, not calls that are manned by a live person. This has been my experience.... hope it helps.
Wow, 37 pages of complaints about this number, and lots of different scams. Called my land line twice and left no message.
They call and when my No-Mo-Robo kicks the call, it immediately gets another call and this time it gets past the robo call blocker. We don't answer and they don't leave a message.
