This call came up as Maine Medical Center and it was a state police fundraiser, or so they said. They got through several blocks on my phone too. My husband answered it and they as if it was an important call and actually woke me since the male caller was asking for me. It should be against the law to call under the guise of a hospital. Not everyone knows where their relatives might be traveling so they answer a call like this. I was more than disgusted.

Fed up with.robocalls. They should be illegal. What's the point of the Do Not Call List? N-M-R is a godsend. One ring alerts me that it is a robocall, and they can't leave a message.

slipped past nomorobo by calling me from 2 different numbers at the same time.

608-371-6666 robo call got through nomorobo service with a threat saying their from the IRS law suite etc. The solution to stop these is a known penalty reminiscent of a Star Trek episode where an individual bounces a ball out of bounds an is immediately vaporized. No discussion, no PC debate, just done.

What's the point of using a service to block calls when they still let the call go through just because they enter a code/captcha? That is just stupid.

This has happened several times for me when my elderly parents call me twice in a row. We also have the no robo calls set up. Now I know it might actually be my folks, not telemarketing.

Same experience as others - call comes immediately after NoMoRobo intercepts another call. I didn't answer. I have my Comcast answering machine set to kick in after SIX rings. Callers like these often hang up around four rings, because they don't want to talk to an answering machine. Legitimate callers leave messages.

Scam Call came in at 8:50PM. Caller ID said "MAINE MED CTR," and I didn't answer because I know Maine's area code is 207, not 608.
