We have NoMoRobo but our landline has begun failing to show callers' number. We were expecting an important call and I answered. The caller identified himself as a rep of "Tech Republic," a website that I have visited. He said that TR was sending some "white papers" in regard to ITT. I told him that he should send them elsewhere, but he quickly hung up. I immediately checked the Internet and found the information about this number.

This number 608-371-6666 is used by nomorobo to forward allowed calls. This call was from United Health Care in regards to my wife's insurance.

I have received calls from this and similar numbers. Every time I block one, they change one of the last numbers. Reported to the FCC, nomorobo, and the Do Not Call list.

Caller said he was with the Centers for Disease Control and wanted info on my children's immunizations. I don't have any children, so I told him my cat got her feline leukemia vaccination today. I did sign up for NoMoRobo today, but it didn't block this call obviously.

Smart spoofer, I just realized that this number IS nomorobo's number you call to report robo callers!

They call me on my home phone number, no message no nothing

Left no message. First got a call from Research Center 415-363-9581 which rang once because it's blocked. Within a minute or so 608-371-6666 called which was not blocked indicating Out of Area call.

First attempt blocked then they used a different number. Caller identified himself as calling about National Grid Electric bill. SInce I am waiting for a response to a call I made to NG, I picked up. SOunds like a scam to get you to sign on with me to get discounted electric rates.
