I received a call that my call blocker stopped but my phone will ring once in those cases. That happened and about 10 seconds later another blocked call tried to get though and was stopped but I got the one ring notification. A third call came in within 10 seconds of the last call and this one had caller ID of Maine Med Ctr 608-371-6666. I don't know anybody in Maine but thought I would see what kind of a scam they were going to throw at me so I answered. A woman said she was with a charity (I forgot what name she gave me) and would have a truck on my street tomorrow if I had any used clothing to donate. I told her something was wrong as her caller ID showed Maine Medical Center with a 608 area code which tells me her phone number was spoofed and for her to delete my number from her call list or I would report her to the Federal authorities. She said she would give me a local number to call to have my number removed and I told her she called me so she obviously had my number and for her to do it and hung up on her. I was amazed at the number of reports filed against this number and found that others had the same experience of receiving 2 or 3 calls, one right after the other with the last one being 608-371-6666.

I also received a call from this number, immediately after a preceding call which NoMoRobo caught. The voice message was from Walgreen's Take Care Health Clinic, and left a different return number of 877-865-9011.I did not return the call to find out it's intent.

Thanks for this Steve. So then NOMO can really only protect you from true robocalls and not autodialed ones? And if I understand you correctly, it is NOMO that has been displaying this 608 371-6666 number all this time? Would it be possible for you to display something like "Possible scam or telemarketing call instead"? By the way the "click here" you posted feature isnt working

Think this number is related to 410-384-4966, at least in Maryland. For me it's always been a 410 number calling followed immediately by the 608-371-6666. Since I wasn't around the phone not sure if NOMOROBO blocked either. Obviously some spoof to get a call through. Pretty sad that the government can come up with the technology to suck up everything from the phone companies, but cannot stop these criminals.

This is a nomorobo number. The call was intercepted by nomorobo on first ring. The caller entered the correct code, and the call went through on the second try. In my case, this was a customer rep from YP (Yellow Pages) Business Advertising Solutions following up on a survey I filled out about how a billing dispute was handled. Usually, if the caller ID shows a number calling, and it gets caught on the first ring, then a few seconds later, the same information shows on the caller ID and the call is not intercepted, then there a live body on the other end. I still let the answering service catch the call, and by screening the message, I decide whether to take the call myself.

This number doesn't get blocked by my n-m-r-b service. Comes after several calls from a different number that does get blocked. Now blocked this number through my panasonic phone.

This was a "tandem call" for me, too...........Seconds after a scam Elite Water 910-769-0775 got blocked, this one tried to sneak in. ID simply repeated phone number....gave "Nomo" a battle, but blocked after 3 rings

call came through from 646-963-2461 and nomorobo blocked it ...immediately a call came through with 608-371-6666.I've reported this number to nomorobo but it's still coming through and not being blocked.

Let it go to voicemail. No message was left so am going to block the number.

My first call was from 514-288-0420 followed by by 608-371-6666. One was on VM as a hang-up
