I'm leaving a message here as well as I did on site for 843-264-7030 which has been calling for a few days and I have not answered. I'm not sure if NOMOROBO has been intercepting them as I have not been home when they called. Yesterday the 843 number called, rang once, apparently NOMOROBO took it. Then within the same minute the call came thru with the 608 number and rang a couple of times so I answered it. The person on the other end said it was a live person call requesting to do a survey regarding Clean Air ---and asked if I had been contacted by any solar power companies. I told them I didn't want to participate in any surveys and they hung up.

Looks like 2 new variations are being tested by the bad guys.1.) They are using the NoMoRobo number, either to bypass NoMoRobo or to damage their reputation.2.) First call comes in. It is blocked. A second call, from a different Caller ID, comes in immediately. If they think this will bypass NoMoRobo or a call blocker, it is not working. Maybe it is a test to see who is using NoMoRobo or a call blocker? I've received several of these in the last week, usually the first Caller ID shows "Arbitron". The second varies.

This number called immediately after Nomorobo blocked 877-202-3809. I let it ring, they left message. I'll block this one too.

The fallacy here is that the Nomorobo service uses a toll-free number and that they DO NOT "challenge" the incoming call. If the call is in their database, it is blocked. Maybe multiple calls more or less at the same time could overwhelm their system but that should be very obvious and the phone carrier should be held responsible for illegal calls (in great numbers) being made through their system.

This number keeps calling my phone number EVERY Day. Today they called 3 times in the same minute and six times total. I have nomorrobo but I had to add them to my U-Verse blocked number list to completely block them. It is showing they are blocked and the calls did not get through, but it is annoying.I even changed the name on the caller ID for this number so it shows up as "Telemarketer-DO NOT ANSWER" on my phone when this number comes in.I have a question for companies that do this....Do you really think we would buy anything from a company that purposely tries to circumvent a blocker? I would hope not.

Got a call from them, real person who knew my name and asked if they could speak to me. I said yes and then they hung up. Obviously checking to make sure it is a legit number to sell/spam.

This number just called my home phone and only rang once, so I blocked my number and called it back. It's the NoMoRoBo reporting line. Sometimes when they block a call to my number, I get a one-ring call from that number. I think it's just a glitch in their system, but I'm happy to get that in lieu of actual robocallers.

Same experience as others. Got a call from Arbitron which NomoRobo rejected. Then within the same minute got a call from 608-371-6666. Here's my take on what's happening with that number:1) Someone calls my number2) NomoRobo intercepts and presents caller with opportunity to authenticate that they're human3) Caller successfully passes human test (either legitimate human or robocall quickly transferred to a human)4) NomoRobo then transfers the call to your number from the 608 number.

I got two calls in rapid succession. One has been report here as being a scammer and the second was this one so it looks like you may be on to something, so thanx. I am still gonna block both numbers.
