Received a call from this number this evening......No message!!

They call often. First call is from 972-253-6301 which is blocked so they immediately call again with 608-371-6666.

I got a call from this number this morning. There was a live person who saying they were calling for what sounded like Chris Springwell. She mumbled the name. She said she was calling from a debt collector with a very important message. The first call was from 877-457-0019. I didn't call back.

The phone companies need to be sued for allowing scammers to fake the caller id. They have to have control over this.

This call showed up on my Caller ID and rang once, but as soon as I saw it, the call disappeared. Nomorobo snagged it. Since I didn't talk to anyone, I don't know who it was. We don't usually get robo calls on the weekend. I guess we're lucky that way (until this morning)!

Okay, I think I have figured out what is going on here (at least in my case). I have been getting calls from 815-753-1817, which I reported in that forum. At first, NMRB was not blocking these calls, then at some point NMRB started blocking them. I guess that someone at some point figured out that the calls were being blocked and started having their people go through NMRB's Turing test. Now, the phone rings once and the CID shows 815-753-1817, then a few seconds later it rings again and shows 608-371-6666, which is the number NMRB uses to pass through callers who pass the test. So the arms race escalates another level.

Called from 608-371-6666. Saw comment that it was from Sleep Med, so I expect multiple companies are using this number. I use a CPAP machine that I think they supply and are bilking me and health insurance for. If they call again I'll answer and see if that's the case. Legit companies would use caller ID, so doubt it has anything to do with my satisfaction with the machine. We'll see.

Double call like others have noted. The initial call was blocked by NOMOROWBO but then call from 608-371-6666 that made it through the screening. Rang through to answering machine, but no message. I'll block this one from home phone.

Geez , lost count on the rings and tries to get past my blocks (phone and nomorobo) . Phone rang once (blocked) , rang again with the 608-371-6666 multiple times . They called back directly after that again with a different ( but previously blocked number) 951-729-4347 phone ID OUT-OF-AREA , that seemed to be a marketing thing for solar energy . Phone finally quit ringing after those many multiple tries (and blocks) .
