Called, rang only a couple of times, not enough to go to voice mail. Caller ID says "Janesville, WI", we live in Texas. Number is now blocked!
NMRB blocked this number on the second ring. I received a call from 336-544-0753 that rang once a minute prior
Nomorobo blocked 318-4318 (UNKNOWN NAME), ringing just once, and then immediately after that it rang twice with this number showing. No message, but it could have been Nomorobo blocking it. However, before Nomorobo no one ever left a message either. If I remember correctly, Nomorobo blocks robo calls, but not calls from "humans". I'm seeing that page one of the posts on this website date back to 2013. This web site should list the most recent ones first. The number could have changed hands many times over.
I answered this call and they claimed to be from the State Patrol ..he was rude and hung up. I called the number back and I got the line for No Mo Robo...so not sure how they are acessing this number. This call was a scam...but No Mo Robo is a legit company...
Windows Technical Support - scam to get me to infect my computer.I strung them along, then asked them to tell me the IP-address of my affected computer, and if they couldn't, they were lying.Had to say that 3 times before they hung up on me.India accent, other conversations in the background.
Received a call from 608-371-6666. Caller id said '16083716666'. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know, but I did search for the number and found that it is the number you can use to report robocallers to the nomorobo service. This call came immediately (seconds) after a call that was blocked by nomorobo. So, like others in this thread have speculated, I'm thinking it's an attempt by someone who is being blocked by nomorobo to get around their service.
