Tell your cousin to unblock his caller ID (*82) before calling you. NOMOROBO challenges every "unknown caller ID" call for robo callers and if your cousin responds correctly, NOMOROBO calls you using this number 608-371-6666.

Called 3 times today. First they call from 516-307-0273 which I have blocked. Phone rings again immediately from this number. I will have to block it.

Did not recognize CallerID nor phone number. So I added to my block list.

Call from 917-460-4116 rang once. I'm guessing Nomorobo stopped it. Mere seconds later a call from 608-371-6666 came through, left a long message: heavy accent, very hard to understand but said the call was for my husband (by name), IRS officer needed to talk with him immediately (scam), referenced the callback # as the one Nomorobo cut off. I'd like to block 608-371-6666 but don't want to miss legitimate calls; someone on this forum mentioned Nomorobo reroutes legit calls with this CID #. I'd be grateful for any advice.

this number is a code used by callers to get through NoMoRobo. Explains a lot. NoMoRobo has some work to do.

I got the same call 608-3761-6666 but never answer it. If I don't recognize an area code I don't answer it. If caller ID has no name attached? I don't answer it. What I do is go to the AT&T website and either block them from future calls....or forward their number to the Attorney Generals number in East Lansing Mi. Let them answer scams and annoying telemarketers.

As above, first there was an "Unknown Name" call, with only the number "1" instead of a valid number. This was immediately followed by the 608-371-6666. The man said he was conducting some sort of investigation, and was looking for the woman we bought our house from a decade ago (he asked for her by name). When I told him the situation, he said that of the two addresses for her in this city he hadn't known at which one she might be living. Thanked me for my time, didn't fish for any information about me - not even my name. Odd call.

Phone rang once( CID showed 6785191368,) immediately hung up. Seconds later rang again. This time CD showed 6083716666
