It is indeed a Chase Operating Loss Prevention Department and it's LEGIT!

Those of you who think this is legit....will know sooner or later it is not legit....tell them to send a letter....if you deal with credit cards an accts..you know what info they already have...do not fall for this...

Chase fraud department says this is NOT their number, call the number on the back of your card.

This is 100% Chase - Their security division. After having doubts of my own, I sent them a message via Twitter and they confirmed that this number is for their security and fraud prevention division.All of the paranoid people on here: you are making it really hard for others to get accurate information.

And YOU are not getting that legit numbers cand be and are SPOOFED! They're not being paranoid, you're just being a jerk with your 'claim'. Think about WHY this would get spoofed-it's simple logic!

Yes. It's Chase banker confirming online transfer. They send me a code, then ask me to tell them the code.

All of the people on here telling you this is LEGIT are part of it!!! This is a Fraud ID Scam. Why would someone look up the number on this site if it was legit. And then defend it as "legit". They are trolls trying to get your Money and ID. NEVER GIVE YOUR INFO TO A NUMBER THAT CALLS YOU!! Always call the number on the back of your card or go into a branch. You are welcome.

SCAM. Called Chase and they had no record of calling me or this number. Call the number on the back of your card if you have questions! This scam company is clearly getting their employees to write in comments about this number so people will fall for it. Don't trust them.

It is a legit call from chase, I couldn't access my online account. And the chase app makes me call this number. I watched those replies first time when they ask me to provide more information, I hung up. But I watched more replies and I thought again. This is the number from the official chase app. I finally tried again and input my info, they did reactive my account. So If you really do not know the number please do not state false conclusion. It really mislead me a lot.
