Called twice last night at 8:21 p.m. and then again at 8:42 p.m. and the caller name was asterisk. I did not answer.
Got a phone call from this number Sept 29 around 9pm. Never answered but they didn't leave a message either.
Just received a call from this phishing operation and believe it is happening because of the Experian hack, of which I fall under the 143mm. There are several that are making contact now, so be aware and don't give out any personal information over the phone unless you called them and know who they are, just common sense.
Called from them...said they're tech support and need to access my pc. Ask me to go to this website and click on to connect. No thank you, blocked the number and the site.
A man with an accent called and said that they wanted to send us a manual for our copier. I asked what company they were calling from - it was not our copier company. I told him that our copiers (plural) are under contract with another and that they give us / help us with everything we need. He said "I know" (how?) "we just want to supply you with a free manual, we just need the model number." I told him to hold on and kept him on hold until he hung up. Yeah, I'm not giving some random person our copier numbers, I'm not walking around to gather them all, and you aren't our company, why would I do that? Zero chance we would've gotten a manual anyway. Total scam.
HI, Ive noticed several people here saying East Asian? Do you mean Japanese or something, because that's what East Asia refers to...if you mean Indian, that's South Asia...
I got this call when i was at work on the business phone. A really nice lady (a schmoozer) said that they were about to send out some Printer/Copy machine manuals and would like to get my copy machine number. DO NOT GIVE IT. This happened to my company a year ago. They send you ink for your printer that you just gave them the number for. They demand payment for something you never asked for and say they made a deal with you. The cost for the ink is outrageous and the shipping is too. They are non brand ink that ruins your printer too. They tried to get my company to pay $5000 in ink. Destination Print, Inc. was the company. And I KNOW this call was them again, a year later.
Called my office asking to speak with the owner, (She knew the owners name), I informed her that they were not in at the moment and asked to take a message. She then asked if she could speak with a manager, to which I replied by asking what the call was in reference to. She said that she needed to speak with someone about scheduling a delivery. I asked what the delivery was for, and she again asked to speak with a manager. I told her that I needed her to tell me what the delivery was before I would transfer her to anyone (as I knew we were not expecting any deliveries), and she got angry and told me that she would call back later to speak with the owner and hung up. I immediately called the number back and got the same recording others have talked about, I pressed 1 and was immediately disconnected.
