I received a call just like the others described here on Sunday night at about 8:00 pm. Told the caller I was not interested and eventually hung up after they wouldn't take no for an answer. I got another call from the same number last night at 11:30 pm! I didn't answer, but I've had my fill of this.

wife just received a call this evening from a lady saying she was with visa, that my wife had won a 100 visa gift card. Wanted to confirm our information and email. Wife did not give her anything and tried to call back but the number is out of country. Canada like the other postings here say. WATCH OUT! This is a fraud for sure!

I have gotten several calls from this number over the last week. I first asked them to remove my name from their calling list. I didn't answer the next couple of calls. This morning, they called AGAIN. They had the last 4 digits of my debit card. They said they wanted to mail me a $100 Walmart gift card and infor on joining a "club" to help me save money that would cost me $24.95 monthly. The caller then passed me off to her "manager" to verify everything. He told me the call would be recorded. I told him that I wasn't interested in a 30-day free trial because I always forget to cancel those memberships. He gave me 2 numbers to reach the company so that I could cancel as soon as I received the information in the mail. He wanted me to give him my name and address. I told him that the caller had already verified them. I kept refusing to say and spell my name and address to him. Finally, he hung up on me. I know once they recorded me saying and spelling my name and address, the next thing they would have wanted was "confirmation" on the FULL debit card number, expiration, and security code. By the way, the other numbers he gave me were 1-877-240-3421 and 1-888-235-9042. BEWARE, people!!!

They have called several times to my house. The first time I answered the Indian lady said she wanted to verify my VISA card with me. I do not have a VISA card. I do not use any credit cards. She insisted I had a VISA and she had the last four numbers. I told her she was wrong and never to call my unlisted number again- she is still calling- but does not leave any messages- If I answer she hangs up- I tried to call block them- I called the phone company- The number used was 613-333-3456- if you try to call it back it is not a working number. I have called the police and the area FBI office- this is obviously a SCAM.

Hi there, much like all of you I received a phone call on Friday telling me that I had won a $100 gift card for being a great shopper and using my credit card ending in ****. She then asked me to verify my address and I believe I told her. She then made me talk to her manager in which I told him I really couldn't understand anything his associate said and that he'd have to explain it too. He then proceeded with I had to say correct to the questions and he re-verified my name, address, telephone number, and when I accidentally said "YES"... he said.. ma'am you have to say correct. I then stated I declined and that I didn't trust what they were doing and I didn't want the gift card. He then hung up on me. I immediately called my VISA CHASE and they verified that no one in their company had called me and they were not giving out gift cards. I had them cancel my card immediately and a new one is in the mail. This really made me fired up.. and to make matters worse, she called yesterday. I'd like to get ahold of these people... and who are they finding out our last four of our credit cards and our addresses??? I know Michael's had a glitch awhile back??? not sure

my phone call was similar to yours, except they offered me a 100$ gift card, for whatever. in the last 3 or 4 months, i have received at least 3 calls per week, and usually on the day of the call it is after 9:00 pm, and after i had hung up on them, another person called about 10 min. later, with the same "scam". i told them to never call me again, and then i received the 3rd call that evening, so i went balistic! for about a week, no calls, then one thursday evening at 10:00, i received another call, so i threatened, with better buisiness bureau, lawyer, police, etc. and i am still receiving these calls. i found out from a friend that places where you use your card, such as walmart, kmart, etc., they sell your information to these "people"! so i have decided to do away with my land line, i have my cell phone on the do not call list, but this needs to be redone about every 4 years.

I have recieved 10 calles from this number on my cell phone. When I call back I get a rapid busy signal.Last night they got through to me,there was an Asian woman, telling me that they were quality control for Chase Visa. They wanted me to verify, my address they also had the last 4 numbers of my account.When I got off the phone we canceled that card no. And also called my bank to put a watch on shady debts, or account information. I was very gulable about this please do not make the same mistake be careful,I thinkI have learned my valuable lesson. ive had 3 or 4 of these so I know not to answer. Ive had one that when I answered and told them no I WAS NOT interested they still started charging me. I changed my card number and now all they do is call. They are on automatic ignore. but after a while of not answering I started getting a withheld number. has anyone else gotten that?

I keep getting these calls, two, three times a day, and no one will help me because it is in Canada.

I received a call from my bank asking me to confirm that I made a bank-2-bank money transfer -- which I had not done! The investigation dept. looked into it and told me that I logged on to computer with a virus and checked my bank account. Due to the virus this gave the hackers an open opportunity to do what they wanted with my account info. And they did! They "tried" to make 2 transfers out of my account. Luckily my bank caught it before they got it. My account was closed immediately. Now, 3 weeks later there is an Indian woman with thick accent constantly calling my cell phone from this number telling me she is calling from "Global Rewards" because I won a $100 gift card regarding my mastercard ending with the last 4 digits of my closed account. I gave her a hard time and questioned her all over the board and she finally hung up on me but now calls me everyday at least once an hour, I blocked her calls and she now calls from a different number. BEWARE!
