Got a call at 5:45PM on Friday, Sep 24, 2010 Mountain Time (in Calgary, Canada). Mispronounced my name and asked "Can I speak to ..., .....When I asked "What is this regarding?" the lady hung up. No idea what she wanted to sell, and I wouldn't be surprised if I receive another call from them again.
Have received several calls from this number but can not understand the woman talking. The area code is in Canada, at least that is what it shows?It is a SCAM, BIG TIME, don't give ANY INFORMATION TO THIS NUMBER if you value your privacy!
I get calls from this number about 3 or 4 times a week. I guess they never learn I'm not going to buy. I suggest anyone getting the call from PLDT Landline call the PLDT US office and demand to be removes from the list. PLDT is the Philippine Long Distance company, the AT&T of the Philippines. You can call them at (213) 623-1150If it's after business hours you can press 3 and talk to a tech support person. Hasn't helped yet but I'm going to use up their time if they are going to use up mine. Maybe if enough of us call they'll start taking us off the lists.
have received several calls from this number, claiming to have won $50,000 and to go to Western Union and pay $463 in order to receive prize. Supposed to have been a sweeptakes through Wal-Mart. It's a scam........................

My wife is from the Philipines and has family there and she sometimes uses a phone card to call them. How can we block these calls, we are also on the :Do Not Call List"

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
