I got my first call from this number today at noon. When I picked up on the third ring, the line was silent. That's a give-away that it was a robo-cal, so I just say "I can't hear you" and hang up. If someone comes on while I am talking, I just keep saying "I can't hear you" and hang up if they don't immediately identify themselves as someone I know.

I just hung up on someone from this number. About thirty seconds later I got a return call and was called an idiot and a [***]. They should hope to God I can't find them...

Sure indication of a robo-call. They dial lots more numbers than they can handle, then when one answers, they flag it to be picked up by the next available agent. Often that means a wait with dead air. You are lucky, they just told you to hang up. They don't care how many people they annoy - the name of the game is volume. That tells you how many gullible people there are out there. If it were not for them, these people would be out of business. Maybe what we need is a public information campaign telling people how and when to hang up.

I have received numerous calls from 6133334567 concerning diabetic supplies from Medicare. I do not receive any diabetic supplies from Medicare ;furthermore,I have an unlisted, unpublished, am on the no call list, This does not seem to matter. I asked where they got my number, and they said fromMedicare. The caller has a foreign accent, and each time has a different name. When I try to call the number, I get a recording that the number is no longer in service Is there anything that can be done? I thought my number was secure. What other information do they have access to. ANNOYING AND SCARY

Have been calling several times a week, several times a night, wanting us to pick up some sort of long distance plan for calling the Philippines. Asked multiple times to be put on their do not call list. Filed complaint at US do not call site.

This number has called our house several times a day. No one answers when I pick up the phone. I tried calling them back, but cannot get through. The operator said that the number is from the city of DenBigh, Canada. My phone company said that they could block the call for a new package that will cost $39.00 a month. All of this is very annoying.

Received calls from this number 3 times today. I do not answer calls from unfamiliar numbers... and those who know me usually text my cell unless it's an emergency (usually to busy to talk anyways). With other numbers I made a point of pulling nasty jokes on the caller, like playing the role of a senile seior who can't even remember who is calling only seconds after they tell me who they are ("Hello?!? I don't know a _____. Hello?!?"). Other times I tell them that this is Detective (fill in official sounding name) of the Eureka Valley, NJ Police Department. I then inform them that they have called in to a crime scene and the the call is being traced. If they stay on the line, I ask them about their weird relationship with the victim (the name they are asking for). If they still remain on the line, I tell them that we have their address and that the local PD will be there shortly to "question" them. I will see if they call tomorrow... Maybe I'l answer with "Fred's Mortuary! You kill'em, we chill'em!"
