Got a call from this number this afternoon. No message. There's been a huge uptick in this sort of thing lately.
Called me around 12pm central time. I was at school and couldn't answer. When I tried to call it back it said it was disconected. I looked it up on google and found this site.
I got 2 consecutive one ring missed calls from this number. I'm sure it's from posting an ad on Craigslist.com. When posting ads on craigslist, always spell out a portion of your phone number to prevent these unwanted calls. I just spelled out my area code, think I will spell out the whole number now.

received call from 1-614-434-9886 at 11:08 MDT on Aug,31,2011 Female voice talking in spanish. I hung up. Last time I got this call from this number was in April of 2011

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
