Legit operation. They do insurance for Home Depot as well. They called me to verify my service appointment and to give me her direct number if anything went wrong.
I can 100% tell you but this is not spam or Fraud or anything bad it is Verizon technical support service how I know I contacted them we were working on an app my phone powered down lost them and they left me a voicemail that they were just trying to reach me hope that helps the confusion I know where you're coming from okay to answer if you need help with Verizon
I had issues with my data going into roaming and called sprint. They had me down load a few apps on my phone and was able to get into my phone to see what the issues where. She then called my cell and then my house number. This number came up. They r a company that helps fixes. Anyway im with sprint and have the protection plan. These people really helped!
They provide cell phone tech support for Sprint too. If you have cell phone insurance, they're probably the company who handles claims.
They are legit. They provide cell phone tech support and insurance claims, repairs and replacements for Sprint and AT&T. They may do others as well. If you have cell phone insurance, they're the company who handles claims.
I received the first call while I was working so I declined it since I didn't know who it was. They then called back immediately, so I turned my phone on silent because I did not have time to deal with an unknown caller while I was working (this was also after 7 p.m. PST. They then proceeded to call back 3 more times in quick succession, but never bothered to leave a voice mail.I have seen lots of feedback on here that they are a cell phone insurance company or tech support. I have not had any issues with my phone whatsoever, have made zero calls to Verizon in at least the last 6 months, and have never had their protection plan. I have doubts that this is really a legitimate call.
I called back the number later and got a message that the office was closed and closed at 5 p.m. central time, which would be 3 p.m. PST. This means their office would have been closed for over 4 hours at the time they called me. Something is definitely fishy.
Asurion has no business calling you unless you call them first. Also on an outbound call they will not need you to proactively tell them YOUR name. THEY should know who they are calling and ask for that person. They also will not ask for the last 4 of your ssn on an outbound call. Beware the fact that anyone can spoof any phone number and make it appea r they are calling you from a particular company. If someone CALLS YOU and requests information from you, you should ALWAYS hang up and call back. Spoofing does not allow the person to receive calls going to the number, only to make outbound calls from it. Again Asurion has no business calling out to people as they handle phone replacements and other things that would really only be handled due to you calling them.
(Legitimate Call) For my call, it was a representative from the Guitar Center Pro Coverage center, (their out-bound number), calling me back. Their inbound number is I believe 1-888-543-4639. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes it pays to get the additional coverage on a musical instrument and this time in my case it has. i.e., acoustic guitar bridge is lifting and they will cover the repair.
