When I try to return the call , I get an automated Verizon message that the number is no longer in service. HMM. I am waiting to see who calls back and from what number.
Okay, these idiots call with several different 617-356- #### numbers. I block each and everyone i receive from them. You answer the phone and a recorded voice of a young man states he is calling from customer service and asks if you can hear him okay - regardless if you answer he continues. He is very vague and basically says you are a valued customer who has stayed with them in the past and they would like to offer you a deluxe stay at one of their locations. Mind you, he NEVER mentions this "location" "hotel" etc -- I stayed on the phone hoping someone live to would come on so I could blow my fog horn into the receiver, sadly they didn't. Basically, they are blatantly trying to get your credit or debit card number. He is very point blank about...so so despicable!!!! Clearly this scam is aimed at the elderly, naive or intellectually disabled. IF YOU HAVE ELDERLY RELATIVES or those with a cognitive disability BLOCK this number for them so they never fall victim. WHO EVER YOU ARE the scam you are running is loathsome and I will be reporting you.
received call, did not answer and they left no message. Not first time they have called. I tried to call them back, it rang and received recording number either is no longer in service or has been changed from Verizon. So, how does a number that has been disconnected, changed, no longer in service, make calls. I am so fed up with all these telemarketers calling and we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST, for all the good that does
I just got a call from this number and answered because I love messing with telemarketers. However there was just empty air on the line and then they hung up. I tried calling back but got the message that this person hasn't set up their voice mailbox yet. So I'll be blocking them. After all, why let the call come through if you can't have fun with them.
Answered the call.. they hung up. I called them back and the message (from Verizon) says that 'the number you have dialed is either changed, disconnected, or no longer in service'.Wait, wtf?! The scammers just used it to call ME. It's probably an automatic recording that the a$$holes set up for when someone tries to call back and [***] at them. GRRR
Received a call from this # today. Did not answer & no message left.
