Called stating that they were from PC Solutions regarding my computer...random. Then subsequently hung up when I did not reply
Called my personal cell phone during business hours, I did not answer since I didn't recognize the number, no message left so I assume it is a telemarketer or scammer.
Got a call from this number, they claimed my computer is infected and some other non-sense. 100% scam. Hope someone investigates and locks up these lowlife scum.
Unfortunately calls like this tend to be based outside the United States. The problem with this is that it makes it impossible to do much of anything unless the country where call originates gets involved in shutting them down.
Received a call from this number today. Indian sounding guy. Being I'm in the job market (and unemployed), I've been getting calls from random numbers. I saw the ID read "MNJ Technologies", so I answered. He knew my name, which I wasn't thrown off by because of my resume being out there, and told me he was calling from the Federal Government and I had been selected to receive a $9k grant for free. I knew this was a scam and could see the call was from Cambridge, MA, so I asked where he was calling from. He responded the Federal Government in Washington, DC. I followed up asking if he was calling directly from there, he said yes. I said "that's odd, because my phone says you're calling frome Cambridge, MA". He fumbled over himself a bit and I stated "and it says you're calling from MNJ Technologies".Inot anticipate hangup.Me: 1Poor Indian Guy: 0
